It’s time.

Maybe they can do a bit with The Fly. That’s a classic horror with some amazing makeup effects.

Please don't screw this up, Universal. This is one of the few attractions in USF that I love.

I hope they don't overbalance the show with those "modern horror properties."

I'd be thrilled about a return of the Telepods, but THE FLY films are now owned by Disney.

Does this show still talk about the 2010 Wolfman and the 2017 Mummy in its montage reel?

Still enjoy the show and love the lobby. Hope it keeps the same spirit of the show.

Yes. It’s still marketing the Mummy, too.

I'm not worried too much about the refresh; Universal has been doing an excellent job with their shows lately and they darn well know the comedic and irrelevant vibe works great with both the guests and the actors.

Fingers crossed they're able to talk about modern horror films they actually wanna' talk about, not something that's just an easy punchline due to the film bombing.

I actually have a feeling they’re going to rely pretty heavily on The Substance as an example of modern horror make-up.

Modern horror film with some notable makeup that was also a box office success and released by Universal: NOSFERATU.

I wonder if an animatronic from the FNAF house makes it into the show. With it being Universal's new "Mega-Horror" IP, you'd wonder if this could be a easy way to sneak in permament FNAF to gauge and test waters to see how people respond to that.

Curious to see if the new version will include some BTS of Darkmoor and Unchained, even if briefly.

I hope it keeps the same sense of humor! But I agree it definitely needs an upgrade. Hopefully a good mix of the classics with some newer features. Anybody have a clue how long it will be closed? *Fingers crossed not for long.*

Please just get rid of the finale with Eddie.

I want to see real makeup effects and technology, not phony stuff.

For anyone who hasn't seen the original version of the show go check it out on YouTube. You can see how the show changed from v1 to v2 to give you an idea of what to expect for v3. My hope is they're using the resources of their seasoned cast (Summer, Robyn, Josh, etc) to help create the new show.

As long as they don't get rid of the cast. They are fantastic and make the show worth a watch pretty frequently even if you've already seen it several times.
I wonder what other IPs they could add. FNAF seems like a possibility and it's certainly been popular in the parks but I wouldn't call that make-up, or horror per say. Maybe this new film will have a few gory kills they could focus on and justify the inclusion of some FNAF suits/props in the lobby? Or M3gan since the first film used prosthetics heavily?

I think the FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S characters would certainly be stretching the definition of "makeup." Even the current werewolf finale does, too, but at least that's meant to depict a living creature that, in the past, have been traditionally created by makeup techniques.
