I agree.  These were base coasts before.

The details just keep getting added and it's looking so, so good.
HollywoodDine_020516_1.jpg

Their painting tremendous detail in the carving such as the color in the rosettes.

HollywoodDine_020516_2.jpg

And look at these windows, they slide up and down like real windows.  Roof looks good and the rain gutter is a great detail.  Looks like there was a goof in the brick to the left of the lower windows, though.

Wow that brick facade is gorgeous. If it wasn't for that damn showbuilding...

Building is masked for painting.  Hope you weren't attached to the yellow.

Lovely stone facing.

Lot's more details getting added.

Show building is now blue.  You can hardly see it anymore.  ;-)

Snap, color changed before my eyes.

I see several of the exterior have been aged which looks great.  That brand new look appears a little fake to me.

Here a crew is adding patina to the finial.

Signs have started to appear in windows.

This one says West Coast Dry Goods.

This window will probably have signage very soon, too.

Wall configuration is very different to accommodate work at Hollywood Grill.

I really want to see the final product already. Each update has me liking and hating something, hopefully the final product is great though.

Having seen the façade for NOT-HoH in person on Tuesday... It definitely leaves something to be desired. Hopefully the final product will be much better. Of course the construction walls making it feel claustrophobic doesn't exactly help either. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I really like that aging. I feel like this street will make a great scarezone for HHN once it's finished.

It will be the same street that it has always been, just with a new facade. Its not like its an entirely new street. Its still the same old entrance plaza gauntlet. The new façade isn't what will make it a great scarezone.... its the theme & scareactors of the scarezone that makes it great or not.

Besides... it will probably just be Exterminatorz again.

They're definitely pushing hard to get the exterior details finished so they can take the walls down asap. At this rate, I could see the walls down by the end of the month. Too bad the same can't be said for the interior judging from those window views.

Yeah, I mean the scarezone could still be horrible depending on the theme, but I feel like there's more potential now that there's facades rather than the HoH.

Some of those wooden boxes have been replaced with street lamps.

HollywoodDine_021316_1.jpg

Lamp fixtures getting added.

HollywoodDine_021316_2.jpg

Plenty more details to add.

HollywoodDine_021316_3.jpg

Also, putting this here even though it applies beyond just the new building, almost all the construction wall today had some theming missing.  Is work going so quickly that they can't be bothered any more?

^ I noticed the American Flag on top of the building... Looks like most work is done in that case. Walls for this should come down sometime soon as well.

The flag is actually the one outside the park near the neon USH sign. The retail side interiors looks very far along though from what I could see. Overall this new entrance street is looking ridiculously nice!

Whoops! Barely noticed it's a part of Saddle Ranch. I noticed it today as well, walls seem to be ready to come down any day now.

How is that flag part of Saddle Ranch? Its the flag pole in the middle of the pick-up/drop-off area below the USH sign like Zero said.

I'm a little disappointed to see the one façade closest to Baker St still a blue color. Hopefully when the walls are down and we can fully see it all together it will look better. I think its because we've watched the (slow) progression of these new facades is probably why they didn't look as "amazing" in person. I still say that is due to the walls still being up & them still working on the facades.

Curious if USH will make any sort of announcement when this is close to completion or if they'll just open it up as if it has always been there.

Geez, my bad, guy.

I'm pretty sure USH will make an announcement, just not formally, or make a big deal out of it.
