I could see the show being really good but I still think the land could use a Dragon “Flight of Passage” or some other big experience that’s a ride.

I always got the impression that it’s a Slinky level coaster. Am I wrong?

My impression from the layout/what we can observe of the show elements that it's somewhere between Slinky Dog and Hagrid. Multiple launches and show scenes/animatronic figures. That, to me, constitutes a headliner not unlike what Big Thunder is to Frontierland -- not necessarily the biggest ride in the *park*, but certainly one of if not the premiere experience in its themed area.

I don't disagree that a flight simulation ride would help flesh out the land in the future, but I just don't think it's fair to say the land doesn't currently have marquee attractions.

I was more saying it doesn’t have something equivalent to Monsters, Ministry, or Mario Kart. Not that it doesn’t have any kind of marquee attraction. It seems like a clear omission at least to me.

Every vlogger I’ve watched go to Beijing looooved The Untrainable Dragon. TDR Explorer cried! I think Brian’s right that it’ll do just fine as the anchor.

It might even fulfill some of what people would want out of a Soarin’ type ride. Seems like there’s lots of gliding and screen flying. Families are going to love it!

HTTYD has more attractions than any of the other lands with the coaster, flyers, boat ride, and show. I get wed all like to see all the lands have more attractions, but $7 billion only goes so far when you build a new park.

I agree I always thought this would be something planned for later since the park would have so much on day 1.

don’t doubt you CAN see Stardust Racers behind the land, but most people will barely notice it because they’re so busy looking at all the fun and colorful stuff in the land.
You can but the colors Stardust Racers uses kind of blend into the color palette of HTTYD, which may be a reason they were chosen.

You only really notice it when the coaster is moving (which can help pull riders toward it). It blends into the background pretty well unless you're specifically looking for it/at it and ignore all the other things much closer to you within the land.

Yeah, I have zero qualms about the quantity of rides/show that Berk is getting. There’s more than enough to do.

I think Fyre Drill will be a flop, but I am also the #1 Mack Splash Battle hater so I’ve been sad about that choice from the get-go.

They're saying that a 15 foot AA dragon can breathe fire. A poster a few pages ago said everyone's favorite dragon: Grump, is 15 feet long.

I need photos of Grump on my desk ASAP. Preferably with pyrotechnics active.

As someone who’s been on every big coaster in the U.S., without saying too much I’ll say this:

The Stardust coasters are the most thrilling coasters in the park…

…but Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is the best coaster in the park.

THIS is what I want to hear. I like more chill thrill coasters that feel like a pure joy to ride where I’m smiling the whole time, I don’t need to be whipped around constantly.

WESH did another flyover and got a great shot of a dragon drone. Video isn’t up on their pages yet, but I took a screenshot:

How long until the Dragon drones become victims of budget cuts?

These definitely are going to be very limited in use depending on weather, especially wind. I know Transformers can only be out depending on wind conditions. These will be under stricter safety regulations

I'd say 2026. They'll keep them around for this year to avoid any negative publicity.

Not a fan of predicting things like that. The resort seems really proud of them, so hoping they stick around.

I have never watched the movies and I'm very much looking forward to the land. Wing Gliders looks like a blast and the show sounds great.

@TheCodeMan95 go watch the movies or at least the new live-action

It's more the harsh reality of things. They may be proud of them, but they'd be one of the first things cut.

Due to safety though, I wouldn't expect them all day everyday. I'd be very curious to know what their wind tolerance is.

I dunno, I'm cautious not to confuse cynicism with realism.
