Wanted to ahead and make this thread, but announced at Megacon, the Ringleaders of Fear will be taking over HHN 35 and will be featured in a new original haunted house!

I'm so hyped for this house and after reading the backstory that Mike posted about it on Twitter, I'm even more hyped. And with Dylan K. having done this house as well I really can't wait to see it!

I’m thinking this’ll be a more cohesive version of Icons Captured. I feel like Chance and Eddie are the only two other major characters that could make an appearance but only time will tell.

I wouldn't get my hopes up to see even them. Eater eggs if anything but I have a feeling we won't see anyone besides Jack and Oddfellow.

From Megacon's panel and whatnot, this sounds like a pretty fun house that'll take some big swings from a design/technical standpoint.

And for those who haven't seen the panel, this house is essentially acting as the prequel to the event and it's "Infernal Carnival of Nightmares" theme.

All in all, I'm excited for it! I do like Jack and I really like Dr. Oddfellow, so seems like a win-win for me! It'll probably be high up in my anticipated list due to that and the technical swings the designers are wanting to take with this.

I was already very excited for this house, and now knowing it's in a SS, I'm REALLY thrilled! Makes me think of Jack's house from 25 which was BRILLIANT and also in a SS

Universal designs its houses for people who know nothing, so you’re not obligated to research anything before hand. It sounds like JackOdd is going to explain the lore in the house anyway.

Now, learning the lore can heighten the experience. Universal does add references and easter eggs to its broader “universe.”

This could be risky. Universal doesn’t mess with the formula too often anymore. I’m all for new ideas, though. They tend to be limited by the crushing popularity of the event now. If it doesn’t translate well during everyone’s time in the conga line, then it could be a flop.

I mean, very similar things were said about El Artista, and that ended up being one of the big hits last year. I think this is referring to effects and technology being used in the house, rather than something that deviates from how houses are designed.

I hope you’re right. This is the house I’m most looking forward to right now. He said “we’re taking some big swings”, so that also implies the potential for some big misses.
