I wouldn't say I'm at that level yet, maybe I'm just lucky. I go maybe every month to Universal (now I've been going every other week) and never has anything not worked. It might have looked like absolute crap, but everything worked. Even though TF is the only reason I go to USH, I still like JP, and it's sad to see it the state of the video.

The electric fence effect hasn't been working for the past year or so, though. I really miss that.

I really feel bad for the state of the ride. I would pay more than a hundred dollars per ticket if they completely refurbish it and get it back to its former glory. Sadly, I don't earn my own cash and can't spend that much considering that I am not elegeble to word due to age restrictions.

Also, for some reason, they had a team member stationed at the unloading station of the ride for the day yesterday holding a sign with a password to let us in through the Gate A entrance if we wanted to ride again. I'm not sure if this was to alleviate the dreaded heat or just a nice thing to do, but they didn't do it for every boat that passed by. Just thought I'd share.

I think it was just a nice thing they do. Two visits ago the same thing happened on The Mummy. PW for that was "scarab" and the only reason I found out was because I heard guests say it as I was approaching the SR line.

I've a feeling the average guest doesn't complain, at least to the right people, about things in attractions not working.

Trust me, the average guest would probably complain if EVERYTHING doesn't work, like in that video Jon posted, especially if they waited a LONG time in the summer heat.

While that video (which I have the DVD of where that came from) definitely does feature the best quality of the dialogue it shows, it doesn't have all of it. And there still could be a way to get it with less sound effects... maybe. I wish we could also hear the rest of what he says about Hadrosaur Cove.

I do as well. It would be more of an interesting side to the ride. I wonder, that in the future if they had to rebuild the ride, if they could make it actually experience the cove, and in there have a tyrannosaurus track you down on the other side.

It would be quite interesting.

I personally think Jurassic Park as a franchise and as a movie deserves a much bigger and more elaborate attraction than River Adventure. More animatronics and more action. I actually wouldn't be against them leveling the ride and making a brand new and BIGGER and better ride. But knowing Universal's budget with non CGI rides and the fact that they can't even keep THIS ride up to date and running smoothly, I'd rather they just replace all the animatronics and add some new effects and keep it working correctly.
