Yeah, enclosing the former outdoor portion of the ride into an indoor section is pretty cheap.

They really don’t need to change much by the splashdown and the load dock.[/QUOTE

Yea if they enclose it with SCREENZ, then yes its cheaper than we thought

^This isn’t going to be cheap. I’m certain there will be some solid AAs and practical before the main building. Have a little faith.

Universal is certainly aware of our criticisms against screens. Yeah, there will be projections, but those won’t be the only effects.

They need to make the queue indoors. This is their only time to do it and would add more meaning to the upgrade.

What...?

That's literally the most costly thing they could have done...

As an Orlando person, I am salivating over what I'm seeing here. I can't wait to see the final product

I have a feeling this ride is going to blow us away. An upcoming rollercoaster in Orlando and this? Great time to be a Jurassic fan right now!

That confirms no more yellow. Looks like the boats will have a high-tech look if that's the final color.

Huh. It kinda looks like how I expected it to look. (So far, at least)

I think it looks more Grayish. Might look that way due to the photo being taken near sundown.

Also, hello all. I’ve been lurking this thread for quite some time.

Well we're getting a coaster and probably this overhaul as well so I would say we have it pretty good her in Orlando too.

Yea, I'm actually excited about it now though. I was definitely not one of the ones excited to replace JP with JW, but this project is changing my mind

I like it... Looks like they renovated the existing boats instead of buying a new fleet from Vekoma...

Eh....sound like PR talk. I seriously doubt they'll replace the whole thing as they installed that AA with a helicopter back when they were building it. I can see them reusing the mechanism and rebuilding the AA from inside. There's no way it'll be taller.

Would it really need to stand taller though? It would just have to be proportionate in scope of whatever is showing to be a 50 ft. dinosaur.

Correct. This is because the ride design did not change.
