A massive structure to hide a massive structure? Genius

I would love to see a giant waterfall/smoking volcano put there

I'm thinking to myself, who wouldn't want to see that?! A waterfall and a Volcano sound like perfect and amazing additions to put in JP! How about a mine coaster themed around the Volcano? With Dino AA's and other surprises? Oh Yeahhh!

Are there any "electric fences" in JP any more? The last I remember was a fence of them in the area next to the FJ queue. I cannot recall if the southern entrance had any of that stuff.

Yep, behind the slush cart on the left side of the entrance coming in from Toon Lagoon.

The least they could do with the Harry Potter building is make it look like some kind of InGen research facility. Just slap an InGen logo on and make a couple of other adjustments and you're good to go. Of course, blocking the building altogether with something would be the best option, but if they want to go the cheap route, that would be something I could tolerate.

About the electric fences, I'm pretty sure they cover the length of the island on both sides, if you look closely enough (though I may just be imagining things)

I'd really like to see more atmospheric elements added to JP, in particular the foliage that lines the guest walkways. Dinosaur noises or even 'interactions', rustling shrubbery and more electric fences would help bring the island to life in areas that are currently nothing more than a stretch of nothing.

Right now, in between JPRA and the Discovery Centre, it's often easy to forget you're supposedly in a huge, living dinosaur exhibit.

I think that we will see an "E ticket" and "C ticket" attraction added. My guess is that the E ticket will blow everyone away.

JP used to feel like it had a lot of depth to it..when in reality is was very narrow..it was a wonderful effect that rivaled anything at the Magic Kingdom in my opinion..I would love to see the new expansion bring more effects to the island..

Theres a short stretch of fence between the entrance (from Toon Lagoon) and the T-rex photo op to the left of the area. On the right in that same general area, Camp Jurassic features some paddock theming which also features it. The only other places that electric fences are visible is when looking at the ride from the Splash Zone (where its part of the ride theming), and parts of the Trike Encounter which are no longer visible from guest areas proper. Its really only at the Toon Lagoon entrance where its most prominent as an actual theming element.

Always on my to-do list but never done was to see what the steam/fog effect was for on the right hand side entering from toon. I think it might have had something to do with CJ, however, I am still unsure. Some times it was on and others it was off. It is/was kind of on the corner opposite the t-rex. You could only see it through the jungle growth.

So with this expansion starting to get underway how likely are we to see contruction on this one? will we see the fences up and any obvious signs of work or is it all going to be out of our view?

I'm interested in seeing what they have planned here. I'm just happy it appears IOA is getting some love. While USF has seen attractions come and go all the time in it's brief history, IOA has mostly been left alone since opening day besides the obvious Potter expansion. Don't get me wrong either, Potter was probably the biggest expansion Universal has ever done, but the rest of the park has mostly stayed the same. I'd love to see IOA get some new things lol.

Part of it very visible, most of it we won't be able to see.

Do we have an approximate date for when we can expect this to be open by?

It's a walking path in Camp Jurrassic...leads you to the lower level of the raptor sprayers..it's a very misty and neat area

No, but I'll be shocked if they leave that big space in the middle of the island completely untouched.
