I like this house, would I rather something new sure but its a solid fun house

I will say if they don't use the clowns anywhere else but here would be a little bit of a missed opportunity, I am hoping they are apart of the Terror Tram, a mini scarezone in front of the tram or walking around the lower lot

I just think it is so incredibly lame that they're bringing back this (mediocre!) house for the third time in seven (event) years. They are making way, way too much money for repeats like this and Poltergeist to still be part of the event.

I do find it interesting that it seems we’ll be getting more information this weekend at Midsummer Scream. Kinda weird for a repeat, no?

Look, if they remix it like they did Halloween 4 (which they mostly did because it was originally a Halloween 3 house) then sure.

Otherwise, what's the point?

To be clear, I'm not 100% on how much of a repeat it is, so I'm not trying to hint at anything.

So last year we Poltergeist came back and everyone was upset (online because the house still got lines.)

I didn't get to go on it the first run so got to go on it, many people this will be their first HHN year or they missed the house

I know many will say its different but its like if BTTF came back to Fan Fest next year, some people will be upset but also just as many if not more happy they never got on it

Also seems like many here just didn't like the house, Its a house from my second favorite year (2019) so I don't mind good repeats like this or Scarecrow.

I'm not defending that this is somewhat cheap if its just the same house again, but people have noted the ending of the house looks different so lets wait until midsummer before being too upset. It could have new things in the house or the characters could appear else where in the park
At least to me I'm more ok with houses coming back then shows, like the Purge is ore of a head scratcher to me then this.
People at least like the Killer Clowns but who is asking for more Purge? We've had it in the Tram for 2 years plus as a show on its third year

Hey, I get it. I think we all understood why the 2022 version happened, as it came on the heels of COVID. But I also think that's a big reason, fair or not, why people are less excited this time around. It's not that it's coming back; it's that people don't want to walk through the exact same maze again. If this ends up being KKFOS Pt 2 (or even 1.5) instead of just reheating the 2019/2022 house, I think the reaction will be a bit warmer.

My feeling is that the event has outgrown, in terms of financial success and popularity, doing exact 1:1 repeats ... especially of houses that (IMO, of course) weren't any good to begin with. I'm not talking about doing Halloween for the 30th time or even giving Scarecrow another run. It's houses that both feel like they only exist because of budget and weren't S-Tier houses to begin with. Of course, like @Brian G. said, if this is a fresh take on the concept you won't hear any more complaining from me.

Unless it stinks, I guess. But, you knew that.
