Lost Lagoon - New Water Park in Manatee County

I wasn't sure which sub-forum to post this in, so mods, please feel free to move.

I saw a tweet recently from a user I follow, and I heard about this proposed new water park coming to Manatee county in 2017 called Lost Lagoon. Has anyone else heard about it? Sounds like it will be cool, and it will be nice to have another water park on the west coast of FL.

If you do a Google search on it, it will bring up a few news articles about it, too.

So weird and random to see this here. I live in Manatee County and it doesn't have much going for it attraction wise. Well maybe a new job for me if this thing gets built

Yes, when I think Manatee County I don't exactly think 'destination'....this could be a good thing
