I would prefer that the entrance to the MK more resembled the highway crossing structures that welcome you to WDW. Grand and bold colors.

That would be a lot more memorable, I agree. Maybe, since they have problems with people pulling off the road snapping pictures of the WDW welcome structures, they went out of their way to ensure this doesn't happen to the MK entrance by making it hideous.

The entire thing is blue now. Went to the MK last night.

WDW News Today posted some pics of the entire structure. It indeed is painted blue across the whole thing.

Despite being a minor change, I do love that Disney at least made the effort to improve the entrance's look. The previous pink/purple color scheme was just a total eyesore.

For a cheap fix it is very much a good fix. More gravitas and less saccharin.

The new paint job looks like it will hold for a while without becoming dated. I like this a lot better.

Orlando Theme Park News posted some new pics of the entrance.

They also point out that the booths have not yet been painted to match the new color scheme:

EDIT: Orlando Theme Park News reports that since their last photo update, Disney has painted the CM booths to match the new blue color....
