Guns n' Roses was just here around two months ago. They even stopped at HHN.

I'm sure they will, but not just for that reason. It seems like each year the lineups improve tremendously with bigger and better names.

Universal's birthday or not, they have Potter money. And lots of it to bring in the big acts to get more people into Studios.

Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Drake are considered pretty big acts within the past few years.

Pitbull is as close to the upper echelon as you'll get especially since he had a #1 song this year that was #1 for a few weeks too.

I tried to listen to Pitbull during a summer concert there it is was terrible

He had stupid sound engineers that thought loud = good. It was so awful over modulated couldnt understand a word he was saying

We'll find out for sure in two weeks but I'm sure we'll get KC & The Sunshine Band, maybe some new Top 40 band like Hot Chelle Rae, a country artist like Zac Brown Band or Scotty McReery, some 80's pop band like Hall & Oates..

I'd kill for Hall & Oates to go.

Doubt Zac Brown will be there though. Looks like they are taking a break from playing in February.

Are you sure about that? I can't say I can recall any Velvet Session artists performing at Mardi Gras last year. 30 Seconds to Mars, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Sean Kingston, Neon Trees, and a lot of the other artists on last year's lineup aren't the type of artists that tend to perform at Velvet Sessions.

From the newcomers, Foster the People would be cool.. I wouldn't be surprised to see Flo Rida, Pitbull, or Sean Kingston again, T-Pain, Jason DeRulo.. They're local enough.

Foster the People would be amazing!!! I really like them they sound better live than they do recorded

I guess Universal is ready to "announce" Kelly Clarkson, hopefully more are coming.
