No, what he's saying is FF is part of the offerings, but they haven't officially announced an opening date, so they're not pushing it hard right now. It's not like 2025's event was fully loaded, either. They replaced Dragon, Jurassic World, and Back to the Future with Odyssey, Minions, and the Fast & Furious franchise.
We had the Castle show and Jurassic the ride got an upgrade plus the water canons
Along with similar offerings as last year but my point is also events grow. Fan Fest year 2 was bigger then year one
Mega Movie Summer 1
Jaws
Wicked
Harry Potter 3 Fantastic Beasts
BTTF
Jurassic New Dinosaur and Ride Upgrade (which also became mostly permanent in the park)
Mega Movie 2
Fast and Furious Photo Ops and Dance show
New Minions and Dance show
Wicked
Jaws (which wasn't even on the press release but Universal High Reported the characters will be back)
The Boat from the odyssey (honestly with this one, I would find it cool if they have the boat in a full falls lake...like make it look like the set on water and think it would be something unique)
The New Coaster
The New coaster was not included in this budget, like Mega Movie summer has a budget and the coaster should not be impacting that, because I doubt Grinchmas will have less then last year because of it and both HHN and Fan Fest will be getting proper budget
Its just disappointing seeing USH have the lowest offering this summer, if Knotts or Six Flags had a big ride coming out I just doubt they would have less summer entertainment, Same with Disney or Sea World most parks offer extra Summer entertainment to draw people but also help to manage crowds crowds
I just hope two things for next year they consider upgrading the budget to match the other parks in the area and second include Anime. It can be ONE anime but try it out in park, I think a Restaurant take over and meet and greet even to start would be something exciting and also draw guests to away from the rides
