This is good to hear, I was worried it was just a dead spot with a curtain. After my rides Sunday and Monday, this is the only part that felt like something was really missing. I also noticed between the two days of my visit that they had added more haptics/seat vibration to different scenes on Monday vs my rides on Sunday. On Sunday it was just in the wolfman scene, on Monday it was several other scenes as well.

All that said, this is my new favorite ride at Universal! There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. The detail, storytelling, and pure ambition by creative on display here is truly something special. I got on it 6 times over the 2 days I was at epic, and was still noticing new details every ride. Most of my rides on Sunday, every AA appeared to be working. Can't wait to go back and ride some more...this is also likely my new favorite dark ride in general.

I also really appreciate how the pre shows flow together, once Victoria calls you in from the first preshow and the second one begins immediately, it really amps up the suspense and drama.

Something I haven't seen discussed anywhere...unloading. That metal plate is quite awkward as you pull into the station haha. I understand there's likely not much else they could have done here though given how the bench is attached to the top of the kuka arm on this so you can't have a nice soft landing like on Forbidden Journey.

Can you describe landing on the metal plate during unloading? I haven't ridden yet so I'm not quite sure what you mean, and how it's affected by the attachment point. Thanks!

When you approach the circular unloading platform, the kuka arm approaches it at the same angle you unload at, it doesn't gently set you down onto the moving platform like Forbidden Journey does. This seems to be due to the attachment point of the bench being on the bottom vs on the back of the bench like FJ. There's a metal plate covering the rotating platform as you approach it that your feet kind of just drag on for a few feet (unless you lift them up) until you reach the actual unload platform. Not a huge deal, just thought it was a bit awkward. I get this is still in previews so I'm wondering if it will change, but it seemed pretty permanent.

Okay thanks, I agree that sounds awkward for those of us that have longer legs. I like how Forbidden Journey gently floated you down at the end.

A part of me wonders if the plot originally had Victoria taking on a more sinister role than she already does, I recall when Screamscape first leaked the details of the ride and story, speculation that she planned the breakout on our tour to document the monsters' reactions to live test subjects. Ygor even references this in one of the two lines he can say at the beginning:

"Don't worry, it's not like YOU'RE the experiment!"

Just a thought.

I've ridden this ride 43 times now and I still love it so much. I think it might be my new all time favorite ride... I need that creature ride NOW

It was actually more awkward and a little more scary in the early previews. The current iteration is better than it was before because that first one felt like it was a little too easy to get your foot stuck in the wrong spot.

When you sleep are your dreams filled with anything besides Unchained? Have you hit the point where the ride attendants don't even bother getting you off the vehicle and just let you continue onto your next ride?
