I was thinking that myself.

Talking about Mount Crumpit got me wondering where it would fit, but there's a nice parcel of land beside Cat in the Hat and it's far bigger than I had thought. The only thing that I could compare it to would be Everest.

The scale is out by about 20% to make it fit and I highly doubt they'd add a coaster.

I believe that Mt. Crumpit back in the past, was rumored to be a coaster actually, haha.

And I think Thanos is possible, but if you were to put them both in-front of me, to say which would be better for an attraction; based off the MCU. I'd say Ultron. And also..If I had to guess.

Ironman, Capt, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Wasp, Ant-Man, Vision and Hulk would be the ones mainly included for the attraction. Its a guess, but it makes sense to me that those would be featured.

I guess, I just figured after this attraction they won't have anything else regarding Avengers and with Infinity wars 1 and 2 having GOTG, Captain Strange along with the Phase one and phase two characters and some of the netflix characters (and spidey) , they would want to include them all in the attraction more so than just focusing on the popular ones now who won't get any more solo films (no more solo iron man for RDJ).

or they can even one up Disney and use the comic version which includes X-men.

Infinity_War_1.jpg

Also for the movie they may be using 67 superheroes per the director so...if they are trying to build an Avengers ride they got to step it up.

Avengers: Infinity War may feature 67 characters
Last week, co-director Joe Russo said that fans “will not be disappointed” in the number of characters set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, but just how many characters does that mean? Speaking at Wizard World New Orleans (via CBM), the Russos put a number out there, and it’s a big one.

We have so many characters we’re dealing with. We’re breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it.”

Attempting to list all of the major players in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Guardians of the Galaxy and even The Defenders from the Netflix shows, yields only about 30 potential cast members for the film. Perhaps with the Mad Titan Thanos’ obsession with death we’ll be seeing some characters who perished in previous Marvel movies return from the grave

I think that once DDFF closes (with possibly F4Cafe), X-Men and Fantastic would be gone for good as for using it for the MSHI. As much as people are going to give me crap for saying it, it makes sense to me of them getting rid of X-Men and Fantastic likeness for the island.

Deadpool is part of X-men family and his popularity is rising and the new X-men while may not get the same box office appeal as Avengers are just as popular as well. Fantastic 4 however can go but keep Dr Doom around for meet and greets because he actually is always popular at when I visit he and hobgoblin always have a good sized crowd.

I was thinking it could have been from before Everest since I know some of the people who moved over had brought the lost continent idea with them forcing AK to scrap their idea for mythical animals.

Speaking of meet and greets, has there ever been a Hulk character out?

The idea of a 7ft person wearing a giant muscle suit in the Florida heat sounds unbearable.

I think they just had a statue for Hulk instead of a person.

Even then, for the X-Men, money doesn't always mean a good product..and for Fantastic Four. Its had three attempts to prove something to the wide audience, and within that; its really showed that Fox can't handle the characters with the justice that they've done with the X-Men films (for some of those characters).

Now look; I do love certain X-Men films, but MCU is proving to be MUCH more successful; as its used its formula very well, much more than Fox's formula. Its why I think that getting rid of those characters would be useful, and i'd be surprised if Stormforce didn't go through some serious external changes for the upcoming refurb, starting up in a few days; including a new name.

There was a Lorax rumor for that Seuss expansion spot you're referring to, going around on one of the OU threads big time, just before the IOA Kong rumor (that turned out to be absolutely true) came out.

Anyone else think it'd be funny if Stormforce got rethemed during its refurb... to Deadpool? It'd be completely random but I also think having Deadpool monologue as you spin could be hilarious.

I just don't seem the problem with having both when there is nothing saying they can't have both. I mean Marvel Studios themselves work on all the films for all three companies (Fox, Sony, Disney) now so if they can do that for films why can't Universal be the one place where you can see all of them because you can't bet Disney would never put Deadpool or any X-men character anyside one of their parks.

I mean having MCU characters, plus majority of the X-men, plus Spiderman all in one park is a lot better than just having the Avengers.

The funny thing is, in the 60's the Fantastic Four greatly outsold Avengers & X-Men. It was, by far the most popular team. X-Men, even was momentarily cancelled once or twice during the early days of Marvel. But X-Men was always my personal favorite back then, even though it was often difficult to find on the news stands.

This has been my only reservation about the prospect of an Avengers ride. I'd like it to feel REALLY different from Spidey, especially if they're going to be situated side-by-side. Make it too similar (i.e. dynamic ride vehicle, 3D ride footage integrated into sets), and then whichever one is "better" will invite comparisons with the perceived "lesser" experience right next to it.

The problem is that I just don't know how Universal would go about delivering a kick-ass, fast-paced, action-packed Avengers ride without dipping into its Spider-Man/Gringotts/etc. toolbox. I'd love to see a mostly practical ride experience (and if I had an unlimited and unrealistic budget, I'm confident I could armchair Imagineer one), but I'm sure that's likely not in the cards for this property.

Personally, if MSHI is going to see a MASSIVE overhaul, like how Springfield was for USH and Hogsmeade for both coasts; I can see this.

Items Removed:

Hulk Lockers (Temp Removal)
Fantastic Four Café
Dr Dooms FearFall
First Building on the side of the land facing the lagoon (when you enter from Port)

Additions:
Avengers E-Ticket Dark Ride {1} (Cobalt Blue/Light Blue)
New Superhero store {2} (Yellow)
New lockers for both Avengers and TIH (Separate) {3} (Red/Green)
New Full-service Dining location {4} (Orange)
Wider pathway for the area {5} (Light-Grey)

(Pic down below, with explanation as usual with these things I do..)

GFbLY3u.jpg

Lets go on and say this..

First off, I think "The Avengers" would be a massive 3D Multi-Sensory dark ride experience, using a mix of Practical effects; and screen based movements to give off the sense of flight in a MCU New York. It would also include the version of Avengers Tower; seen from the recent addition to the MCU Avengers series; "Avengers - Age of Ultron" as it would have Ultron as the main antagonist of the attraction.

I also think that the Full dining would be moved to the side facing the lake; more closer to Hulks dive to it, as it would be a Two floor option; similar to USH's Springfield. It makes sense to have a dining option there; and it would add some more people to that right side of the road in MSHI. And also, a new gift shop for Avengers; as it would make sense.

I also putted in two new locker locations; each for their separate ride, as I think Avengers would be bringing back Kuka to do a Second-Gen version of the bench technology from FJ, but that's just me. And, I think that during all of the work; the buildings around MSHI would be getting new paint and theming to accommodate the new style of theming that'd be introduced to the island, so it matches with TIH and the new E-Ticket. And, that I also see a change to Spideys façade; but in a way, being more of an improvement (and, changes to the suit he wears on the ride).

But that's my more..personal idea of what the hell they 'should' do for if MCU comes to USO.
Great plan but I like the idea of using a villain we haven't seen in the MCU so the attraction tells a new story instead of treading into book report territory. Who it could be I have no idea but I'm sure you guys could come up with someone.

Definitely. If it did use KUKA I'd like to see major differences from FJ as well.

Oh my god, PLEASE!!!! :lmao:It's just the corny thing that would fit him perfectly.

"Deadpool's Sit and Spin." The meaning of this phrase in the urban dictionary makes it all the more fitting :lmao:

Ryan Reynolds' involvement is also a must.

It is not without precedent that all of the Marvel characters, Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, have appeared in media outside of their respective cinematic universes. The LEGO Marvel Superheroes game released just a few years ago did this. The X-Men did use their cartoon costumes, but I think Universal shouldn't have a problem if they wanted to do an attraction with multiple Marvel properties. Also, I think it would be cool to have Deadpool be in a theme park attraction where he knows he's in a theme park attraction.
