Ya but obvious and confirmed are two very different things on this site. For a while, rumors were only Starlord was going to be in the movie.

Last I remember, the rumors included also Rocket's actor; Bradley Cooper. So now, we have confirmation of GOTG crossing over with the Avengers, and it can be best said that any rumors for it coming to WDW are dead (unless they have sorted out some form of deal with NBCUniversal/Comcast to have GOtG and BH6 be the only IPs that Disney can use for the parks on the East Coast).

Still though, it's disingenious to be like oh this group isn't in the avengers family then purposely use them in two avengers films along with their stand alone films using Avengers villians as plot devices (The Collector and Thanos) and I truly would love Kevin Feige to explain that to me.

Well all I know is that the trusted insiders never said this would be a problem for a GotG ride in WDW. Might be a problem for Disney and Uni's lawyers though or might've already been dealt with. No idea.

Probably the money wasted on lawyers for this project is why Toy Story Land elements keep seeming to get cut.
