Nintendo Coming to Universal Parks

I don't doubt that they can do it more fast. I do think that anythings possible for the size of the project.

This is the way I'm looking at it: After VB, Fallon, and F&F are open, they'll have a ton of resources to throw at KidZone. Maybe they could start after Fallon and VB open, but honestly I think USF needs F&F open first as well

With Nintendoland now likely being a 2020 addition, I wonder when we will get concept art for it. I was hoping maybe this year when it was considered to be possible for 2018/2019, but now I would assume we won't see much, at least officially, until 2017 or even 2018.

And I wonder, if plans do indeed include removal of ET (and I know that is only rumored and nothing concrete), would that mean a 3rd e-ticket type attraction, or still just the 2?

Just going by how forthcoming the Japanese side has been at least talking about it, I could see us getting something in late 2016/early 2017

Reading this, it has just dawned on me that we don't know for certain what's coming in 2018 and beyond. With F&F, Fallon, VB, Kong, and Hulk opening within the next 20 months, it's kind of eye opening about how much could be in the pipeline.

Love that idea. I just questioned why no new Marvel attraction on the MSHI thread a couple of weeks ago. An Avengers attraction just makes so much sense, thematically and attendance wise. Build it while the property is still hot. And they will come.

If you're considering rational, non-fanboys, he's correct. Nintendo is a well respected company.

And while Nintendo is not as big as Star Wars is currently, Mario was THE most recognizable character in the world for a time, and I'd wager is still in the top 5.

Don't forget Asia where Nintendo is much bigger than Star Wars. Many dollars in foreign visitors.

I think it's possible that we may hear info in June. The E3 video game convention is at that time, even though Nintendo has been releasing information for their games through their Nintendo Directs, there is still a possibility they can announce something theme park related at that time. I just wanted to bring that thought up...
