There may be too many factors to this question...But how fast does the average busbar based attraction go?

Or rather, how fast can they go safely?

I know Spiderman has a pretty fast whip to it

I'm really just trying to get a sense of how much the speed will have to be simulated

If we're talking about the MiB/Spiderman/CitH/etc style bus bars this will be, probably around 5-7 mph. The bus bar not only provides power and show controls but also directs the vehicle, so going 10+ mph would require the bar to be significantly beefed up.

What's important is the design of the attraction itself to give the illusion of speed. Test Track with its full size sets and outdoor portion "feels" slower than Mr Toad and it's tight turns and miniatures.

Probably closer to ET, around 4 min? But I have no idea for sure.

I honestly don’t know. Maybe. But not entire levels like the old plans.

They’ll definitely be simulated up/down sections with special effects at least though.

If you look at some of the videos from Hollywood, the footage from the Studio Tour shows the back left section of the building does not have two floors. It is one big open space from top to bottom. Hopefully this is due in part to elevation changes and/or giant show scenes

Not sure if it’s this area, but a large section will need to be cut out for the stairwells between levels and there will be balcony views down into the load area like MiB. That area will have floor to ceiling one level.

Test Track is a good example...I suppose the beginning incline portion and the obstacle course/semi scene is what to expect
