Am I the only one that hopes that this version has a chip upgrade? I want to be able to play COD and other games that the Xbox/PlayStation can run.

Honestly, I feel more in a unique sense..I want the Chip upgrade, because it'd allow more console experiences from Xbox and Playstation to be fully played either at home, or on the go. Like, I would fully go in if it meant larger and expansive games can be playable on the Nintendo Swtich. But my hope, is that they don't overprice it, in a sense.

And that's not to say there aren't already massive console experiences like that, hell; Bethesda & Panic Button are doing wonders with the Switch. But I want to see more than just them.

Doesn’t matter what they say if this is the successor to the 3DS, which it is.

Here’s the thing: I want to be able to play certain games on the go, and the Switch has a great exclusives library.

Nintendo should have prepared for this ahead of time and built a console that could combat the original Xbox One/PS4 systems. Now they’re paying for it in lack of third party support from major companies not named Bethesda.

Who says that the old console will be pointless? You still get most of the games.

To also somewhat comment in the subject of a handheld Switch..that's not exactly something that'd be new.

To honestly guess on two things

• Bezel is removed, with an updated pixel count for Handheld
• Nividia Tegra X2 replaces the Modified Tegra Chip to improve battery & graphical life.

Take this with salt..but DreamcastGuy has apparently heard that Square is intent on having Kingdom Hearts on Nintendo Switch.



The key words in this, seem to be that this is apparently as far early as it may get; and that it's mainly in discussing how things could work for the franchise to hit Nintendo Switch.

If they do a Switch Pro, they should just have it were the form factor is the same, including joycon rail, that way they can sell the console sans dock, joycon, hdmi cable etc., for those who have the regular Switch, and have a full bundle for those who don't have one.

I know this passed without me even commenting, but 0% chance Nintendo releases a Lite or Pro version of the Switch next year. It'll get hardware updates, yes, just like all systems do as components change, become cheaper, etc.

There is far better footage of the gameplay, that shows a lot less of the stuttering from the trailer.

It seems very much like, that Yokai Watch 4 is being created for Console in-mind; as opposed to handheld play.
