Trust me, once you get an slr you will never run out of things you will want. At the moment I am trying to get a 40d, a telephoto lens, a strobe, a higher end tripod and ball head, more memory cards, a new external hard drive to hold more photos, and finally a backpack to carry all that stuff.

Ghostrider455, what kind of DSLR are you using? I am getting Nikon D60 with an extra 300mm tele for christmas.

I have D60 and LOVE it! I am hoping to get at least a 55-200mm zoom for Christmas, a 300 would be nice but BIG price difference.

I need a tripod bad too.
