Well this is unfortunate but not surprising. Doesn’t look like Dark Harbor has a good chance of ever returning.

Well this is unfortunate but not surprising. Doesn’t look like Dark Harbor has a good chance of ever returning.

I've been following this story pretty closely for the last couple of years. The city has come out and refuted this article in the last couple of days (or at least an earlier version of it) but ultimately all roads lead to the same conclusion in my mind. I'll save some of my thoughts for the actual Queen Mary thread, but I don't see Dark Harbor or any event returning there for a long time.

Yeah, Amy Hollaman (who gave the press announcement) previously was Creative Director for Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary, then moved out to Cali and worked for Dark Harbor, eventually transitioning over to the Thirteenth Floor Entertainment group and helping with LA Hayride and Shaqtoberfest. So a good pedigree of quality haunt experience combined with experience at the Queen Mary site too, so in great hands!

^Yes that pool deep inside the bowels of the ship has been used to great effect in past mazes.

Sounds like it will be more of the same from Dark Harbor, and I like that.
