I guess that falls in line with what we've been hearing. I think until they have new ownership we probably won't see/hear anything.

Could be possible that the city just gains ownership of the vessel, and decides to decomission and remove the ship from property so that they can turn that and adjacent area into space for the city.
 
The history of ownership is insane. It would be nice to see it finally repaired but this discussion has been happening almost since it dropped anchor in Long Beach, so anything goes I guess.
