95% of guests who ride this won't care what system Universal uses... for them it's just a ride.

That's inaccurate. People always want to know what type of ride a ride is since most of Universal's attractions are inside.

Robert Niles of Theme Park insider has a column on the Orange County Register about flying theaters. He was at the IAAPA in Orlando last week and thinks that the Fallon ride will use the new Dy Mo Rides system. Niles said the spokesman for Dy Mo Rides said the company is working on a "custom ride system for a classic theater at a leading Orlando theme park, to open next year. "

At IAAPA DyMoRides execs explicitly told me that their 2017 Orlando classic flying theater is Fallon, but they aren't doing the install & that Universal mode
is modified from their published design.

Soooooooo, it is going to be what I have been telling you all for well over a year... only MUCH more substantial than that thing in Williamsburg... stuff that few will ever see.

Lots of clarification in the last 12 hours. Thanks Seth & Teebin. That was sure worth bringing the topic up again.

I'm actually now curious if the Flying Theatre as it will be a custom job from what it seems like; Will it be like the DMR Tower Flying Theatre. While I doubt it, I find that an interesting concept that I could actually see Universal doing, along with custom work. But, I guess we'll find out eventually..

I am not sure there is any correct here. I only know for 100% fact that the engineering designs were for a classic flying style theater a year and half ago. We will find out soon enough.

UC completely changed the location of the VB water coaster from earlier designs so I have grown to be open to other changes that come along.

Ah, remember me telling you all that I assumed they had abandoned a deco theme above the bathrooms a few months back, when the bathrooms opened? It appears it hasn't been abandoned after all... it is just set back a bit. Happy times! ;)

Purdy stuff should be installed between those columns soon

That overhang with the restroom sign is also only temporary, I would expect the permanent one to look much nicer as well.

I really like the look of this entire project.
It's just so smooth and linear.
