A lot of updates going on throughout the park: New SeaWorld Rides and Attractions | SeaWorld Orlando

We have completely reimagined our iconic entrance lighthouse and given it a brand-new look for 2021. This 50-foot beacon of fun was recently hand-painted by 5 talented SeaWorld artists over a period of 13 days. The mural features a total of 16 sea animals in a vibrant, watercolor-inspired look. Be sure to stay until after the sun sets, because the tower will be illuminated with blacklight to reveal a new look you don’t want to miss!

Looking for your next big Insta-win? Don’t take a picture with just one color when you can go under the sea (at #SEAworldorlando) with a brand-new, coral-themed Insta-wall just inside the entrance.

Calling all Arctic explorers! There’s a brand-new restaurant at SeaWorld Orlando. With fresh and juicy ground-beef burgers and grilled chicken, along with hearty pizzas and beers on tap, this is the perfect spot to set up basecamp and refuel for more Arctic adventures. Altitude Burgers is now open next to Wild Arctic and Glacier Bar.

A guest favorite since it opened, this SeaWorld Orlando classic is getting a complete makeover for 2021. New floors, lights, and interpretive displays, along with brand-new habitats featuring lionfish, Caribbean fish, lobster, and moray eels will make Shark Encounter a can't-miss experience the next time you visit the park. Our reimagined Shark Encounter is now open!

There’s no better way to beat the warm Florida sun than a delicious milkshake or ice cream cone. That’s why we’re introducing a brand-new ice cream parlor featuring over 13 flavors of Edy’s Ice Cream. This new location will feature monster shakes like Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, enormous brownie sundaes, and hand-dipped ice cream cones. Guests over the age of 21 can even add a shot of their favorite liqueur or cordial to any of our milkshakes. Edy’s Ice Cream Parlor is now open at the front of the park next to Dolphin Nursery.

Enjoy delicious entrées with waterfront dining at the all-new Lakeside Grill located next to Oyster’s Secret. This new dining location, formally the Spice Mill, will be completely redesigned with a contemporary coastal-inspired interior and exterior. The indoor dining room will feature a brand-new 600-gallon aquarium with a variety of marine reef fish and live coral. The outdoor dining area will offer expansive views of the SeaWorld waterfront. The location will also feature a completely new Mediterranean-inspired menu including turkey burgers, kabobs, falafel, and Mediterranean nachos. We look forward to welcoming you to this new location in late March.
Shark Encounter needed an update and love the more colorful/modern look they're going with for everything

SeaWorld is really doing some good general rehab around the park. Key West hasn't had an update in over a decade, the Spice Mill had become a rotation of poor creations, and Shark Encounter felt like it was from the 90s. I always found it odd that Shark Encounter didn't get a proper rehab when Mako was going up. The aquarium in Spice Mill is a nice touch.

Now get me a hotel with a centerpiece at the scale of the entrance to Chimelong Ocean Park! I know. Big dreams die hard.

Saw the new tower and Insta wall, the colors definitely pop. Hopefully they'll keep up maintenance in the Florida sun.

Had a chance to sample Altitude Burgers (full disclosure, was comped because I was with an "influencer" friend) and they are legit. far better than the mass-produced grade school cafeteria hockey pucks Sea World used to offer. Closer to a 5 Guys or Burger Fi. The vegetarian mushroom pizza was actually quite good too.

Glacier Bar is really cool as well. A few cocktails on tap but also six rotating craft beer taps. Great staff, and enough TVs you could catch a game inside the park. Not the most important thing to die-hard theme park nerds but probably the #1 question dads ask. Between this and Flamecraft near the entrance, you could try a lot of craft beers in the park even without their food festival.

Curious to check out Shark Encounter and the re-imagined Spice Mill now, agree both were in need of some love. Overall it feels like Mako and Sesame Street were a turning point for Sea World. The park feels like it's been on an upward trajectory since.

This all looks really promising. Looking forward to coming back this Mayish

The SeaWorld Parks have always had solid food...It has, unfortunately, taken a bit of a step down from the AB days (a lot has)...but it's still solid

I was shocked that they didn't do much with it when they opened Mako. They did some general maintenance, but nothing major.
I remember what's his face saying it is going to get refurbed...He was busy destroying Timbuktu at Busch Gardens at the time though

Holy crap SeaWorld is busy today. We were planning to go but traffic is backed up to get into the park on both directions on CFP and I-Drive. Spring break is packing the parks today, especially with the beautiful weather.
Good to hear. Form videos I've seen, IB has been testing a lot the last few days

For anyone who hasn't been to Electric Ocean and seen the Ig-Nite fireworks, the show is really good. This is a great aerial video from Bio of the fireworks with the audio from the event added to the show by Attractions Magazine:

With the addition of Chick-Fil-A at BGT, it seems SEAS may be moving towards introducing 3rd-party companies into their parks more, which makes sense because even Universal and Disney do it at this point. Remember MK has a Sunglass Hut (or is that not there anymore?).
Yes, and sometimes the food is an upgrade over what was there previously

I figured the Build-A-Bear was taking over the old Sand Castle Toys location in Key West:

Just like the remodel of the Dolphin & Whale stadium, the makeover of Sealion and Otter Stadium has completely redone the stage and backdrop. Much more clean/serious looking than the old Sealion High stage was in the vein of the new more educational presentations:
