I'd like to see it come to UOR, from what I understand it is rumoured to be a classic dark ride with AA'a, decent scenes and no screens, just whats needed IMO, if no other reason than to keep the "not more screenze" brigade quiet.

So what's the deal with SLOP, USH, USF or both? we know it exists but where is it going?

As Skip stated, SLoP is for now; a USH Exclusive for the time being. Where the ride is going for USH is the SS28 plot, next to their Transformers (which was home to the Soundstage that filmed Phantom).

As you pointed out, the ride is heavily rumored to be a Classic Dark Ride, but more akin to what is of Pooh's Hunny Hunt from TDL. Heavy AA amounts with Trackless tech.

Most good things from UC come to UOR lately. For me it's a matter of when we get this ride, not if

I honestly can't see this not coming to Orlando at some point. Universal doesn't make resort exclusive attractions these days. Everything Hollywood has opened up recently (Transformers, Kong, F&F) is coming to Orlando and vice versa (Potter, DM, Springfield). I hate the idea of this being used for the Marvel/TL/Hoffman stage plot in IOA but replacing Shrek at USF, I actually love that idea. It's perfect for that location and park.

If it comes to Orlando hopefully Universal gives it a different story line?

I doubt they would even though it would be cool. It's much easier and cheaper for them to just clone the ride over. Which I wouldn't have a problem with if it's going in USF. A dark ride for kids isn't exciting but should be coming soon.

Forgot to mention this, as I said this on the USH Expansion thread and I'll repeat it here. I don't think its impossible by any means that we get more than SLoP on the 21'st.

It would be exciting for people. Pets are friendly for family and people of.all ages. Which there isn't a demographic you don't have to target because it's already a draw to a lot of people.

Their Mummy Coaster in USH from what I understand has a vastly different track layout. Maybe they could if they clone do something similar and keep the costs down? Is that even possible?

That's because they both went into existing buildings, each of a different size.

Just because something is a family dark ride doesn't mean it can't be exciting. CitH used to have lots of excitement until they took out the spinning. Mystic Manor and Hunny Hunt use similar tech as this upcoming SLoP E-ticket.

Based on the SLoP trailers, there'll be a lot of Tex Avery-esque mayhem throughout. I definitely think the ride will be loud and fun for anybody riding. Adults and teens seem to love the trailers so far, which inclines me to believe Universal will find a way to give older audiences something to enjoy, too.

It won't be a thrill ride, but Universal needs more attractions that older adults, non-thrill seekers (able-bodied but not huge fans of coasters/simulators) and young kids can experience (not "baby" like Dumbo/Tea Cups, but things like POTC/HM/Mystic Manor/Spaceship Earth/Great Movie Ride/Kilimanjaro/Horizons)

Will this have a height requirement?

I rode CitH recently and it was really disappointing. It seemed the spinning was down even more than when they originally had toned it down.

If we're looking a potential requirements; for Disneys Asia parks, both of their trackless rides have None (Hunny Hunt and Mystic Manor..). But for SWO; Antarctica has a 42 inch.

I would imagine if it's rumored to be very Similar to Hunny Hunt; that it'd have no height restriction..but that's just me.

Correct me if I'm horribly wrong.

Antarctica has a motion base where Hunny Hunt + Mystic Manor don't, right? That would explain the height restriction. I would imagine that Universal would spring for the motion base. That seems more their style.

I would argue that Pooh has a scene where the "Pots" (Ride Cars) for the lack of better definition, Bounce.

I believe in Ratatouie from DLP, it has a motion base but is available for all heights but I can be wrong about that..if they do have a Motion base; then I can see it go for a very low Height restriction; much like Kong on its height.

Just some legitimate worrying that things have been changed in the scope of the project since I haven't heard anything new in 6-8 months.

I do not believe anything has changed in the deliverables for the project.
