Ok so lets talk about a few of the rumors and tidbits that I as well as others have contributed to this expansion speculation. And seriously must I remind everyone this is speculation until confirmed by Universal. We don't need another Kong uproar from the doubters here do we:thumbs:
So the project itself is rumored to be a family friendly dark ride themed around the hit Illumination film, The Lorax. The film was a CGI film adaptation and was created based off the story by Dr Suess. This ride has been in the pipeline for a while and kept getting pushed back. The ride has been revised several times and was unsuccessfully pitched twice to the Geisel estate. Over the Summer Creative was preparing a third pitch and by the sound of it, it may of been third time is the charm. This version of the ride is rumored to be a dark ride featuring physical sets, 3D projection, AA's and live effects all while riding on themed scooters as RV's. I know I know I can hear a collective sigh, a few mumbles from some people in the back, and a couple skeptical chuckles from parkscope. Just kidding guys, all in good fun, love the show! And who can blame you right, just 10 days ago I brought you this crazy Kong crap. But this is where its gets interesting...
Yesterday morning at park opening roughly 12 members of management and creative were touring two sections of Suess Landing with a number of what appeared to be blue prints in hand. They were also snapping loads of pictures of the area and carrying on in conversation while pointing to the prints and then at a structure or area in the vicinity. Now before anyone gets ahead I am the first to say, it very well could be for Grinchmas set up. But why would they only be interested in two areas? Not to mention A&D handles Grinchmas decorations. I've included a photo outlying the two areas they were focused heavily on.
I have my mind set, but where do you stand? What do you think? At the moment this is all I can share and to be blunt maybe more than I should right now. But just like I always say, its material to spark conversation. I mean its better than going off track:sneaky:
