Suess Landing was our savior land during the vacation. We probably spent half of our IOA time there, since there were rides that didn't have super long lines or were too cold to ride for the time of year. And at Christmas, Suess Landing really shines. I have nothing but good words for this underrated part of IOA.

Another area of Seuss is walled off for refurb. So there’s hope they’ll get to the arch soon.

Hopefully not to remove any interactive element. They recently removed the Doomnet telecommunication device during MSHI's latest "refurb."

Had the chance to try out three of the new food items offered at Circus McGurkus.

We originally ordered just the "Popcorn" Shrimp Box and the Green Eggs and Ham Chocolate Cheesecake, but the Shrimp Box came out cold and super greasy. We asked for a fresh one and the TMs were more than willing to do so. Wish I had caught his name, but the TM that we specifically spoke to about this issue offered us a different item for free. With that, we ordered the Pizza Pasta. The "Popcorn" Shrimp Box was good, when warm lol, and the Cheesecake was fantastic. The Pizza Pasta was much more delectable than the Shrimp Box, and I would 100% get it again.

The additional seating is a nice touch as well. Overall, this overhaul for Circus Mcgurkus is great and I'm hoping other restaurants like Burger Digs and Café 4 receive similar treatment.

Could we ever see a Whoville nightly tree lighting come to Grinchmas here? Why do they strictly celebrate that in Hollywood ?

They use to do one. I think they stopped when the Grinchmas show went inside.

Just seems odd to have Grinchmas without a tree in Seuss Landing.

Also, fun fact, because this sign has a rotator inside, it needs to be oiled occasionally without taking it all apart. So the "a" in "Ham" actually conceals the spout opening to add lubricant...so in short, to keep the ham spinning you need to oil the a-hole...can't make this up :nervous:

It looks like it may be stationary now instead of spinning?

It's crazy how much they built -- and how much just sat up there, abandoned/SBNO -- for so many of the park's early years.
