When riding through Kong, instead of seeing giant insect AA's & a giant Ape AA, you'll be seeing giant pink elephant AA's.

That scene in Dumbo freaked me out as a child.

I all fairness I live 30 minutes from the park. So it will have to be a long lunch break where I probably bring my PC with me in case I need to do work. So not as easy as you think :)

That still sounds pretty nice.

Hiya all! I haven't had time to follow the forums too much lately, but I did see that my recent video has already been posted, here it is again in case you missed it. I just posted the blog post to go along with it today which includes some more photos too. Posting some of the highlights below.

What I find most interesting is that they have placed fans along the employee access road on the left side of the building near Toon Lagoon. As some of us have suspected, it looks like that side will be used as overflow queue, at least for the first few months when they're expecting huge lines. Check out the images at the bottom of this post to see what I mean.

That's all for now, more pics on the blog post. Sorry for not posting more often, but I love catching up when I visit the forum. Please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube page as I plan on posting lots more Kong videos over the next couple months until opening day!

I saw a lot of that merch in Hollywood, its decent. But then again the front store usually holds all of the typical merch, the actual stuff is usually in the main attraction store. Since Kong has one, hold your breathe, there will most likely be more to come. Also I'm totally going opening day, no worries bout that

Thanks for the great pics and video!
I can't for the life of me figure out why this pole is still yet unthemed. I can't imagine they are just going to slap some Bondo and paint on it and call it a large piece of bamboo...image.jpeg

That is odd. The entire queue is virtually finished. Only a few things :sneak: are left to be installed.

They're probably waiting to kidnap some sacrificial victims to hang on those posts. Universal strives for realism.

Heck, they could hang whole characters. Mickey from one post, Goofy from another. A couple of Pandora characters. 7 Dwarfs. And maybe Hans Solo from Star Wars. Kind of like the warning in the first Planet of the Apes. Disney stay away or else. :violin:

They pretty much did that back in the mid 2000s. Almost every advertisement had Disney-bashing in it. It was so pathetic.

Thank goodness, they're beating their own path now and are secure in their lineup.

I thought the waist pack looked good. I wish they had placed the expedition company logo on it so it would look like a real memento from the skull island "tour".

They need to hire Scott Walker as a sub contractor to get that Expedition Company logo merchandise moving. ;)

Also, boonie hats with the same logo. I think they might sell well.
