Since we have a bit of a pause in postings now, after all it is Sunday morning, I'd like to extend a special thank you to Hate to Fly and Teebin for all of their postings on this attraction since it's inception. The reviews we've gotten from kearnes96, Bled & glsstokes confirm what HTF & Teebin have been telling us for the past few years. They were the first Insiders in the field to talk about Kong, and it looks like their information & clues have been right on from the beginning. I toast their accomplishment.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Don't forget @Disneyhead. For the longest time he's been saying we'll see AA bats and bugs. Love the confirmation of the Worm, and in the queue no less!!! More time to, "appreciate" it

So USH gets Walking Dead as their year-round haunt and we get the queue for Reign of Kong.

Not to mention their Kong AA burns down, but we get the new one

Actually it would be nice if they built a second one for Hollywood.

USH also got Hogwarts..so technically, we aren't screwed over..

Kind of funny, if I understand correctly, except for Kong all AAs arevin the queue. I am wondering, since people often wish there would be a year round haunt, is Kong's queue basically that? And the reason for Hollywood's Walking Dead haunt, is in answer to Kong?

AAs of the bats are said to be in the same room as the Kong skeleton on the opposite side.

Question: how are the 3D glasses integrated into the attraction? Any dumb names? Does the driver talk about them? How does it affect the outdoor scene?

@kearns96 thanks for the write-up so far, it's all really entertaining stuff!

The animatronic voice says to not put them on until you enter the cave.

Too, I had never heard about the crab steering being used to pull up to unload. I wondered about it way back when I learned about VDL but it was never mentioned again. I suppose one can only think of so many details to fill me in about.

Also, sad to hear the gate torches aren't giving an extra roar of fire yet.

I had no idea that so many Universal TMs were members of this site. They have just crawled out of the woodwork as of yesterday.

I thought it was pretty awesome. I posted a bunch of stuff earlier that you can read. Looking forward to riding this thing over and over again. SO much to see and take in.

I don't care about the rest of the queue -- that animatronic worm will be the easily the scariest part of it for me.

Cool thread but it's time for me to bail out before pictures and videos start showing up. Will be a while before I get to ride it but want to leave some surprises for when I do.
