Do they even have all 5 trucks yet? Last post I saw on this was a couple of weeks ago and only four trucks were on site. Did the 5th arrive since then?

Team members claim it has. I asked and they said that one truck sits out each day on rotation, so that you can experience all of the drivers.

there is no express for Kong they only build two ques one for singles one for regular

Word on the street was that Kong was not the father. I recall details of the paternity suit. Turned out the genetic link kicked back to Mighty Joe Young being the true daddy. .

Thought I'd do an update today since it's the first day of school for a number of school districts...Universal appears busy if lines mean anything.

Historically, that would be the case. Generally the closer you get to the end of August, things slow down. But this has been a bizarre summer, so you never know. Plus, because of the late official openings, people are probably just catching on to Kong & Hulk being open. That might keep the crowds coming later than usual. We'll see, I guess.

we are arriving on the 15th. All the hotels are BOOKED the week we are there. Thank goodness for restaurant reservations, and express pass.

Ohh, what to do, what to do. Do we head to Hogsmeade at early entry, or head to the line up for Kong? I wish they would just open Kong for early entry, it would make the day so much easier to plan.

I've been debating the same thing. I think I'll go to early entry, ride FJ, and then get in line for Kong before the regular customers get in. I figured if I get in line for Kong when I first get in the park, I'll end up standing in Kong's line for nearly an hour anyway, which I don't ever do. And I'm hoping the newness wears off a bit by the end of September.

You HAVE to go to Hogsmeade at Early Park Access in order to access the line for Kong. Once you get to Hogsmeade, you go through town and head to the Jurassic Park bridge where a team member will show you to the Skull Island line.

If you arrive at the parks right at 8am for early park access, you will be able to ride FJ and get into the Skull Island line with plenty of time.

Right next door from Hogsmeade, adjacent to Jurassic Park.... Do what Convoluted Frippe said above & you should be OK.
