Those are definitely not AAs. They're probably just animated figures. There's no articulation, really.

The closest thing is Imhotep, I'd say, who was good when the ride first opened, and went down hill during the dark times

I think the word you are looking for is mannequin. Those are mannequins on a moving surface.

I wasn't sure if they're torsos moved at all, but yea.

There is a difference between AAs and animated figures tho. The animals on be Jungle Cruise are animated figures and not AAs, as they don't use pneumatics or hydraulics

Technically, there are no new AAs today. They are either mechanical figures or animatronics. AAs used an actual audio tape with audio blips that would trigger motion. Modern animatronics use software.

Yes, I would agree with you on that. OI has actually been way more reliable than TP lately, which has been pretty far off quite often on both Universal & WDW in the past year. TP really needs to rework their system.

FYI Opening Team Members started their training yesterday (Wednesday). That means we are almost definitely within 3-4 weeks of softs, or at least for TM previews to start.
