I heard months ago they were aiming for softs this week, so it sounds like they're running slightly behind. Probably at least a week or two away still (total guess).

HTF is elected, by default But then, he'll probably be helping you unload the truck anyway.....and I'll be standing in line for ROK, waiting to get on for my 1otheace: ride in ROK softs.

Keep your eyes peeled to uoteam. Whenever you see the alert for TM Preview dates on there, it'll be full speed ahead with with the watch for public softs. My guess should be TM preview sometime next month if all continues at this pace.

Does anyone else think the idea of scare-actors in the queue is just asking for trouble? At least at HHN, people fully expect to be jumped out at, but in a random ride queue, I'm thinking people will be a lot more alarmed and let's just say the scare-actors will probably be punched in the face twice as much. I almost fully expect them to be removed sometime in the ride's first year.

I think this is well accounted for in design based on this past years issues at HHN.


Jim Hill mentioned things like "peering from", so I think using the term scare actors might be a little generous. Think more like creepy atmospheric.

It's very possible. The third vehicle was delivered about 3-4 weeks ago so... I didn't mention it at the time.

Never been to HHN or any kind of scare house. I hope I'm not in over my head, lol.

I seem to recall in recent years that the very first soft opening has usually occurred before TM previews.

Only ride that had the public on it before employees was Gringotts and that wasn't even "public" softs. The select hotel guests with potter packages rode it and that was a trainwreck. TMs only got to experience the queue line before everyone because the ride wasn't ready.

We constantly still see testing where it struggles or stops halfway through, it doesn't seem consistent.

Heck, maybe its part of the ride, but i find it odd the vehicle doesn't clear those doors quickly so the show doors can shut and stage lighting can do its job..
