I actually love that there are animatronic drivers. I would expect this of Disney in the 80's but definitely not Universal 2016.

Yeah, it adds to the epicness of the ride. I love it. I really want to see it in person. It's what the control room in space mountain should be at the top of the lift. They've out Disneyed Disney here.

I think there will be to much else going on that the appearance of the driver in the vehicle won't detract too much. That if it even looks a bit odd which I doubt.

When it comes to scary theme park attractions, Creepy is Good.

I think we can expect the windows to be fogged up a bit so you can't that good of a look at the AA driving the truck. And besides, only the first few rows will be able to get a good glimpse at whoever is driving.

The AA figure might only be the focal point probably during certain indoor parts and I imagine might "disappear" part of the way through the ride. Hell, I don't know if it'll be readily visible during load/unload. The figure is mostly there for those outside.

yeah im kind of wondering if we see much of the AA
it will be dark

Thank god you won't be seeing it's face while riding. I expect it to be an ET like figure, just sinks in at a moment and doesn't come back
