I believe they were really referring to the actual rain forecast. That's typically the time it starts to rain during a Florida summer.

In addition to the technical problems, I heard from an Insider last week that Universal Marketing was pushing hard against an early soft opening because it would hurt their selling of vacation packages. Apparently that happened with HP Hollywood.

While probably true, I get the sense that marketing has little control over how this plays out. It's probably just wishful thinking on their part. UC wants this thing open yesterday. This was the attraction that would help them save face and now that is slipping from their grasp.

Good news!

Things have spirited up behind those walls. Things are looking good... From an anxious guest perspective who just wants to ride the ride.

There is a date now, that the ride will be handed over to Attraction Operations regardless of the ride's status or creative's opinion on what needs to be done.

This will be interesting!

I am going tomorrow, I guess still no softs? Good thing I go almost weekly.

I wonder what the reliability rate is now. I have been estimating that 30 minutes up and 30 minutes down for reset wouldn't work. 60/30, 120/30, would that work? I dunno what leeway they would accept.

Sounds like what happened with Fast & Furious Supercharged at USH. Creative wasn't pleased with the result, but operations forced their hand.

Starting to really, really think that those who ride it during its first few months may want to cherish it. Would not be surprised if things start changhing here and there.
