people always talk about the relationship between peter and MJ, but to me the friendship with Ned is so much more impactful and important.
they were best friends from childhood, that's almost family. yeah MJ is Peter's romantic love, but ned was like his brother. ( sometimes their friendship gets played for laughs, )

I have never been a particular fan of Ned... until this movie.

The scene of Spidey, Ned, and MJ just hanging out is one of the best in the movie. What this film does so well (and does the best since SPIDER-MAN 2) is create the sense that Peter's personal stakes are as important as whatever the plot conflict is.

This to me tells alot about what's been going on with the MCU and movies....stop pushing crap no one wants and make movies people want to see and have fun with

Like this made more in a few hours then all of Supergirl and Supergirl if it was a great or an amazing film could have still had issues but the trailers sucked and most people like me who saw it are like its fine but wait to watch it later

If your making a comic book movie it needs to look interesting, have characters people like and not just be fine it needs to be something people will talk and hype up

While once again this movie isn't in my top 5 Spiderman films, there are some really good parts to it from how it feels filmed better then the last 3 live action films for spiderman, and does the smart thing of including other characters in it that fit the story being told while almost making it feel like Spiderman is living in a larger universe. I hope the MCU just looks at this and understands what works and use that vs ignoring it for what they want audiences to like

I think it also may be a case of people loving certain characters. It seems like Spider-Man and Batman are movies that everyone will turn out for unless the reviews are average or poor. In fact, I’m not sure there’s another superhero at this point I would hedge that against except The Avengers or maybe if Evans or Downey returned as Cap or Iron Man in a solo film.

Some of its quality and some of its fatigue. Thunderbolts and F4 had very good reviews and didn’t do that great at the box office compared to earlier Marvel films. You need to have fewer products and ensure those few are top notch content. That’ll garner the trust and interest back in the general audience.

Might be and while Batman does well, it didn't help the Flash movie and I don't think Batman: Caped Crusader is doing better then say Invincible

I think a big part was the marketing for this but its also what the fans wanted mostly, like other hero's interacting with Spiderman, Spiderman on his own no Ironman jr and no school stuff

(to note I am fine with Peter in school but think it works better in TV shows where the characters get more time)

If Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2 like kills then I might agree more but season one of that show was really good and I feel like most people didn't check it out

I'm not saying Spiderman isn't by himself a himself but they also did just a good job on a lot of things and people were hyped for this. But if the MCU wants to try more side characters cool but make the plot or movie look interesting like I'm sorry but Ironheart, the marvels and what not just looked like more of the same with nothing to really stand out

BP2 had a kick ass trailer for its movie as well and looked interesting, like where is this going? (even if I think the second film is a hugeee disappointed compared to the first film)

I just hope the MCU and DCU make projects that are interesting and its why I'm sad Blade is over and we never got Armour wars which has a cool plot but the people are just pickier now after Secret Wars sucking hard and other shows being just Fine, no hate on She Hulk but that show just made mistakes with characters like the Hulk and abomination, while this film knew how to use the Punshier and Hulk
