If they announce it during the Super Bowl I could see the commercial start out with Homer and his gang from work at Moe's watching the game there and then during a commercial break on the tv they're watching the commercial that advertises the expansion. I don't know. Just some dumb idea I threw out there haha. Why go out and make a commercial specially themed to the Super Bowl when they could just do a regular expansion announcement commercial.

Transformers commercial during the Super Bowl is a maybe, or even a commercial that announces both Transformers and Springfield. But a solo Super Bowl commercial for Springfield wouldn't make much sense if they weren't announcing a major new ride with the Simpsons expansion, and the spinner doesn't really count.

Because it's a ton of money when Comcast also has to promote Uni movies. We saw TF last year because the game was on NBC. There's an outside chance you might see it, but it's very outside.

I don't see them spending so much on a commercial for something without a major ride. Even if people did see it, they'd probably wonder why there's no new ride. It makes a TON more sense during the Simpsons when you're target market is already watching.
