I was thinking the same thing. I'm with you on this one. Unless you speculate otherwise, I'll believe it's a spinner as well, though Id much prefer a ferris wheel.

I'm curious to see what this turns out to be then. A spinner made sense. Guess we'll have to wait and see if there's any truth to it or just more misdirection like TF and possibly JP (amber mine coaster made sense, hypercoaster does not.) Oh well, more speculation for everyone!

Although a spinner would maybe be a more interesting ride, a ferris wheel could be a really cool looking from across the lagoon. I picture in my head the new Springfield area lit up beautifully at night and looking really lively especially with a ferris wheel. Or it could look really tacky, depending how they did it. You could maybe get some neat views of the park from it though.

From what I understand Moe's will have seating for about 80 people. This includes bar seating. It will also be attached to a master dining room with seating for about 120. Seating for the entire complex should be around 300.

Now, as you stated. How do they handle the influx of customers when it opens? I'm thinking food service will still be cafeteria style (counter). I would imagine Moe's will have a bar. So, does the bar also serve food? Or would you have to go get your food and sit at the bar. With limited seating how to you keep people "moving on" is the real question. If this turns out to be like Finnegan's we might have an issue. IMO Finnegan's has good food but awful service.

I think they're going to have seen the failings of Gaston's and the flaws of 3 Broom Sticks and try to use that to their advantage. I think it will have much more seating than Gaston's, which it seems from what you've theorized, that it will. I also think the bar will have continuous line like Hog's Head, but at the same time have bar seating.

They really need to do something with that old concrete so at least it looks like they are trying with those paint samples! Might be easier to blend the old and new concrete slabs together if they don't replace it all...

Similar story here. Beer is not my usual drink of choice, but you can bet your a that, once this opens, you'll see me enjoying a cold Duff at Moe's!
