Disney promotes going to to USH and Sea World by advertising the SoCal City Pass on DL's website.

I have seen USH advertise the SoCal pass as well. I don't know if they do still.

Hey, I was looking at the concept art for Springfield while listening to the latest Inside Universal Podcast and it hit me.

What if the roof of Krusty Burger, Lard Lad Donuts, King Toots, and Moe's is a patio for outdoor seating. The doors of Springfield Elementary, Springfield General Hospital, and Springfield Penitentiary lead to either stairs or ramps down to the ground level, or to a small indoor seating area with the windows of those buildings looking out into the park.

Just a thought.

By the looks of the steel structure's positioning, it doesn't look like there'll be any outdoor patio. Rather than the buildings in the foreground being completely parallel to each other, they're all sort of jutting out in a rounded formation. They're also a bit spaced out, not all jampacked.

In other words, I wouldn't count on it.

Ok, Here's a theory as I've been thinking of something on Springfield. What if its not only 2 Phases. What if in Fall, we get Phase II and then Phase III. It would be like Phase II would be the Duff Brewery, and the Ice Cream. It would be the area of Ben and Jerrys and Louies as that'd make the most sense for a third Phase and that could be a preview of how Springfield will be in Hollywood.

Highly unlikely Springfield will open in phases. Expect nearly all the food choices Orlando has to offer, and more.

Basicly, Phase one has opened and it was the games in the front of the ride. Phase II to open early next year is a FFBVLD with 2 stories

Expect a 2 story food court themed to The Simpsons, containing the dining and retail options found in Universal Studios Florida's Fast Food Boulevard (and more).

Depends on how expansive Springfield is. I would assume the entire back of the upper lot, from SES to the Studio Tour will be completely 100% Simpsons themed, that would leave enough room for a version of Duff Gardens.

I don't think there will be a Duff either.. Mabye if they expand the mart to have Duff but for right now, I don't think that's in the cards.

Fairly sure it was confirmed that we'd be getting Duff (in some form). If Louie's doesn't become Luigi's, I'd expect a Duff Brewery placed there.

Luigi's will be a small venue within the Food Court.  Louie's will become Duff.  This would also be consistent with Orlando's setup.  I personally feel that Duff would fit well next to the starway.

Is Duff Gardens somewhat a parody of Busch Gardens?

No, its a Brewery.  More of an upscale bar/lounge area.

I never thought it made sense for Louie's to change into Luigi's, despite the Italian theme. Luigi's is nothing but a counter in Florida, and I agree - Duff Brewery would look fantastic next to the StarWay.
