Yeah.  I actually would prefer it would be mist since that would be safer and plus it's so hot in the valley.

Oh and Universal FINALLY put news about Springfield on their website and they indeed confirmed Krusty Burger, Moe's, Duff Gardens, and Lard Lad.  Though not surprisingly of course.  However, what I have heard is that there will be no Captain McCallister's seafood and it sounds like the Springfield Menu will be different for Hollywood's than Orlando's.

Yup, those were still in the parks in December.  They were literally serving Homer-sized Lard Lad Donuts both around the Upper and Lower Lot back in December.

Are you referring to The Frying Dutchman? I don't see why they would eliminate that food option for our food court, would you find that it's a reliable source?

Yeah that's what I meant...just blanked out on the name.  Let's just say I have a specific inside source for that one ;)

When I last went to Universal a week or two ago, an employee told me that the food court is expected to open/ soft-open sometime in March, although it sounds like the rest, including the Taco Truck, Duff Brewery, and Phineas Q Butterfat's will open later in the Spring.

Very very exciting! It looks like they're placing new trees while the pathway is blocked again.

Seriously, the amount of details and visual eye candy is fantastic. Wish the actual Simpsons ride building was this detailed and "3D".

Yeah its going to be within the second or third week of March. Employees have had training inside the building already. I was told that they are still painting the some parts of the inside and they still needed to install tables and chairs.but the inside is ready to go.

I've been mostly excited to see signage and the cute props and decor throughout the new mini-land, as well as the side of the street that includes Duff Brewery, Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck, and Phineas Q. Butterfat's. We're very close now!

I was wondering what the 2nd floor in the food court is going to be used for? We know they are actually using it because There are little windows installed on the 2nd floor. I am thinking they will put the kitchen on top and the food court on the bottom or make the kitchen on the bottom and add extra seating on the 2nd floor.

Hopefully there's more than one stairwell, and they're wide enough to accommodate herds of guests going up and down them with trays of food.

I hope they find a solution so there isn't any guests bumping into each other and dropping food. They could make a 3B type restaurant where you order the food, you go up the stairs find a seat and they bring the food to you.

The Three Broomsticks is the same as Fast Food Boulevard: a counter service venue. Maybe you're thinking of The Leaky Cauldron, as they do bring your food to you.

Either way, it's all but confirmed that our Fast Food Boulevard will work the same way as it does in Florida. Pick one of the many mini-venues within the food court, take your food to the register, and find a seat somewhere.
