Hondo. That's not Laura Dern's character from The Last Jedi is it?

In all seriousness, this is Hondo. He's more notably in the canon from the Star Wars animated shows, The Clone Wars & Rebels.

Will the interactivity be as exciting as Mission to Boredom?

I am mentally rattled by how engineers calculated the extreme weight of all the sculpted cliffwork being added to the top of all these buildings. How does one calculate the weight of a 9 story concrete petrified tree???

Especially since these are the same Imagineers that made the Yeti and the Tree of Life that sheds concrete limbs.

I’m wondering if the job assignments will be random, like the seat that is the pilot for one ride will not be the pilot for the next ride. It would prevent people from taking time changing seats before the ride starts.

I think it runs the risk of being a bit of a mess no matter what. You just know that there are going to be lots of guests requesting specific seats.

I would almost imagine it would be similar in theory to MS where you get your assignments before entering the cockpit. Alleviating some of the mess inside of people trying to switch seats.

Great pictures from Bio as always. Two things kind of jump out. First, we have more rocks on a stick. Second, I truly wonder how long the paint will hold under Florida weather conditions.

Bio: Well there's a few places, but I want to go back to GE
Heli Pilot: ..really?
Bio: But wait..in High Altitude.
Heli Pilot: My man.

The bowl in the rock formation looks like a crater - battle blast or crash

Even when I wrote that, I was thinking that Pandora still looks okay. Actually, I should have looked at Carsland out in DCA. Hard to tell from pictures but it still appears to be holding its color. The only problem with that comparison is that Anaheim doesn't see the rain/storms/humidity that Orlando experiences.

As nice as all this looks, I hope that it stays that way.

Speculation, based on the new ticket pricing and availability dates, pegs the grand opening date on Dec 16, 2019. FWIW. Although they have until the 21st to hit the "Fall 2019" date. The episode 9 film's release date is Dec 20th.

Yesterday was my first time in Toy Story Land in the daytime so I got a few shots of Star Wars. It's really starting to come together. Big photo dump here: Disney’s Hollywood Studios Construction Update – Star Wars, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Skyliner and More – Orlando ParkStop
