Rumor is they are testing more Living Character Initiative tech. Trying to get an AA version of Laugh Floor.

That's fine and all, but Laugh Floor is literally across the pathway. This seems a bit redundant.

I love the living character initiative, but why can't they do it across parks rather than large ride and show real estate space?
Like in the pathways back in the day

After the mediocre Mission to Mars, the stunning Alien Terror, the disappointing Stitch attraction it gets shut down for a meet and greet... That is cheap.

They need to bring back Alien Encounter!

No word on if what they are testing is for that spot. They might just be using the Sarge AA because it is the only T1000 AA they have that is set up (wicked witch is inoperable at the moment) and not in a popular attraction like the Sparrow AAs are.

Supposedly, they want it to move with the backstage actor as well as talk.

Really? Disney fans call it a thrill ride that is way too intense for humans. Then again they can't drink milk because it too spicy.

Mmmmm, can't get me enough of that spicy milk :ears:

I am under the impression that WDI is using the theaters to test something really cool. No clue what it is or what it's for.

Then what would they fill vacant attractions they are too lazy to replace with?

They would suck it up and replace the space with a superior attraction :)

Well, this is disappointing.

Considering that they're only using the first pre-show area, here's hoping (albeit foolheartedly) that they're testing a replacement in the main areas.

Sure looks like a first class new attraction. What more could you want for a $125 park admission. Disney takes the next step in interactivity. (SATIRE). ;)...Rating :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:....But I'm sure the You Tube crowd will rave about this.

Martin maintains that the plan is to get a new attraction up and running here by sometime in 2020.

am I the only one (having not seen the original alien encounter) that actually liked the stitch show?

I liked it for what it was. But if Stitch was Barnstormer, Alien Encounter was Hulk.

If its any consolation, they haven't touched the attraction itself and there is still talk of running it during the holidays.

Guess what doesn't want to die?

Stitch's Great Escape to Resume Seasonal Operation from December 23rd - Blog Mickey

I think it's best taking the Walking Dead at HHN approach to this, it's not closed/gone until whatever replaces it has officially opened.
