The blood is probably CGI, so if they are to be believed, I can see a way that they could've "accidentally" changed to the version of the show without blood. Although why they are messing with FATWS is extremely questionable.

It's happened before on other places. The most notable being that WB accidentally had Birds of Prey in a PG-13 version on HBOMax for a few months, before it was caught notice.

Still not a good look, but it's happened in the past.
