The Shrek portion of the DW land does but up against AA. If AA doesn't get claimed for Pokemon, you could do some sort of Shrek dark ride there.

An inevitable casualty of the unbridled cosmic power of the Pizza Moon restaurant.

Good, never liked that sign. Felt cheap and forced.

It mattered way back in the day. Nowadays - not so much. Not shade, just a sign of the times.

It is weird I suppose to be in a highly themed land and have a sign break the illusion to say you’re in a theme park.

So much for Zelda huh?

With USF seemingly about to get a bunch of love in the next few years, it seems like this replacement is in development heck. I do hope this doesn’t become Universal’s wonders of life/Stitch’s great escape in abandoned space terms. I don’t doubt it’ll get replaced eventually though, I trust universal.

I’d bet it’s still next on the IOA priority list, but they’ve (rightly, IMO) decided that USF needs help after Epic first.

Agreed. USF Needs help. I think what they have done so far is good.

Simpsons, RRR, and maybe supercharged are being torn out, and I’m excited for that parks future.

As long as mummy and ET Stay, I’m fine with anything happening to that park.

Hopefully this gives them time to get out of their funk of making Nintendo rides so close to the game at the expense of making a more compelling ride.

Yeah. Agreed. Also speaking in hypotheticals, Whenever IOA gets touched next, you think another island will get a touch up? Maybe toon lagoon?

I don’t think toon lagoon needs a total tear out, but more of an IP swap/and/or land update sans popeye, which is fine. Just needs some more relevant characters.

That’s a weird to say considering Nintendo is probably dictating most of the design of these rides.

Whatever happens here, I hope they can improve guest flow in this area. Even without a major attraction, this land can be tough to navigate at times (specifically the stretch between Fire Eater's and Hogwarts Express).

I’ve considered that and if it’s the case I’d want Universal Creative to grow a pair and say “no, we’re making a ride. YOU make games.”

That's a good way to ruin a solid working partnership.

Despite some complaints on here and within some other online circles, there's nothing to indicate that Universal or the greater general public are dissatisfied with what we've gotten so far.

It's been mentioned a few times and I'm kind of in the same boat - I'm fine with Lost Continent sticking around as is for a few more years. It's still a beautiful area with some great dining, assorted meet and greets and shopping.

Maybe throw a new show into the Sinbad theater if possible - but outside of that, I'm okay with the focus being on USF and Epic for awhile.

I don't have too much confidence in Zelda coming to fruition myself either. It does feel like the talk these days is on USF and the other two Nintendo projects.
