Apologies for the double post, but it's an entirely seperate thought and it's been a few days.
I went to Lost Continent today, and with all of the Dragons stuff around, it was the busiest I've seen the area in a while. It felt like a sleepy pass-thru land before but people were stopping in the stores and looking at props and taking pictures with Toothless. It's also only the Bazaar area, so the front area with Mythos and the back of the land with the Halloween shop were untouched.
I also think the theming just fits incredibly well. There was already a bunch of nostalgic Dragon merch, now the land has some life in it again to match that direction. It's also all just well built? The wall art looks like it's always been there, Stormfly out front looks incredible; it all just flows really naturally.
I think LC could stay in this state for a good while and be just fine, for better or for worse. It's obviously unfortunate that we might not see movement here for a bit, but if that was always gonna be the case as UDX works at improving USF and Epic for a bit, I'm glad that this land isn't just standing in mediocrity. It feels kinda energized again, and that is a win for the land and the park.
Though, I wasn't a fan of them playing Katy Perry "Firework" when Tigress showed up.

If HTTYD was a tasteful cheap Dreamworks layover, that definitely was not. Suddenly made it all feel like a Six Flags haha.
