I think they could connect the pathway from Suess Landing, around the water side of Mythos, to the bridge that goes under Velicicoaster to the Wizarding World entrance. That would allow Mythos to remain untouched, except you would enter from the waterfront side and continue to walk around the park while they tear down Lost Continent.

The entire back part of the land could be fully rebuilt without affecting Mythos. Also they kind of need to do it this way to allow guests to walk around the entire park during construction.

Then, after the new land is built they can redirect traffic and redo the waterside of Mythos if needed.

Personally I want them to keep the food at Mythos but wouldn't mind if they redid the outside. It's cool but just looks bit dated.

Random thought I had: if/when the land goes down for demolition and construction, how will they divert guests walking to Hogsmeade and JP? Do they dead end it at Seuss? Walking path through the land to Hogsmeade? Just to the bypass bridge?

They must've loved having that extra queue space for Hagrid's as well.

If they go with Pokemon for this area, maybe they'll retheme Mythos' dishes to Pokemon-inspired cuisine. Baked Magikarp, fresh-caught from the lagoon. Tauros prime rib. Squirtle soup, for the more adventurous.

Even if they do the "wall tunnels" method, I imagine there would come a point where they'd HAVE to shut down the entire land? At least for a period of time for them to change the walking path to match the land lol

Also a lot of those spaces are pretty tight

One Piece being one of Netflix House's big IPs they're leading with makes me feel like this is not going to be One Piece. Seems like the IP holder nor Netflix would want to compete with Universal, even if the land would be a few years out.

I agree that the Lost Continent replacement is unlikely to be One Piece for a multitude of reasons, but I don't necessarily think this would prohibit the use of One Piece within the parks.

The version of One Piece that has been used at Universal Japan and Hollywood is based on the original anime/manga, which Netflix has no ownership of. The Netflix attraction also seems to be escape room-inspired, and does not resemble what Universal has done or could potentially do with the IP in the future. At a minimum, I think it's very likely we'll see One Piece return to Hollywood's Fan Fest Nights again.

It's not One Piece, but having an escape room in House of Netflix doesn't prevent it from coming to the parks.

Make Pokémon more lush and vibrant colors a la Toon Lagoon, then make Toon Lagoon a large One Piece land that for lack of better comparisons, feels more LC and Port of Entry vibes to match IOA.
