What I would want

Season 1 All about Skits, some interactions here and there between shows but make funny skits
Season 2 you can try and do more stuff like the Muppet tonight with things happening behind the scenes but start with basic funny ideas then go for the more meta jokes later

Can’t wait to see Muppets who don’t sound anything like the Muppets spam surface level jokes and references to Disney, Star Wars, Fox and everything else they’re trying to push in their conglomerate in a 5-6 episode season because this is streaming TV and nothing is allowed to be longer than like, a movie and a half

Disney has long kept dropping the ball on the Muppets. I just hope they will stick the landing this time and it will last more than 1 season.

I love that they keep trying with The Muppets. I'm actually a huge Muppet stan. I loved the recent Electric Mayhem show.. Loved the ABC show from a few years back. And then Muppets Tonight was the variety from the 90s too which I liked it.

The only one I wasn't too keen on was the recent Muppets Now. The format didn't really work.

I actually think the Muppets stuff released during the Disney era has been mostly good to very good. Now, has it been promoted properly? That's another issue and is something (IMO) Disney has been poor at for many, many years.

I'm ... interested, but I just wonder if the audience VS budget balance will ever be right for this brand again. It's a relatively niche interest that requires a lot of resources.
