I mean, I’ve been kinda ready to rip that bandaid off, but...
@hhn28andbeyond: Once again, it’s still going to be 30.
My bad, mixed up the dates

Do you want a pat on the back? Now please, stop.I for one didn't milk the topic, because I mostly bounced and left the Polyannas to it until it looked like there might be some forward motion.
Guys, can we just mourn the loss of this year's event in peace? Not sure why it's so important to let people on the internet know that you were right about something that had an extremely high chance of happening. The event was canceled, we get it.
Just gonna say this, I expect 2021 to pick up where this year left off in the sense of IPs. I think we’ll see Hill House, Beetlejuice, Eilish, & Brides coming back since none of them had rights issues. Not expecting the originals to get cut either.
Overall great decision by Universal, hopefully next year will be even better than what they planned for this year .
I suppose that would depend on whether they can keep the IPs they have, among other issues.Seems like last minute call,TMs that were casted already haven't received and email or call stating that they were out of a job... It is upsetting that people went through the whole ticket and hotel reservations as well. Might be too early to ask this question (doubting anyone actually knows) but will recasting be done for next year, or will they recall who they have already hired?
My thoughts exactly. Had enough money saved up for the deluxe room at hard rock and RoF w/ express this year. Now we're talking about getting a suite next year. All I know is I'm going all out next year assuming it's safe. Hard Rock Resort, Rush of Fear with Express, the whole shebang.
Hill House is still most likely imo. I think the thought is that since TCM was a last minute addition, that'd be the one to get cut over any of the others.Wait so it was TCM that had issues? I thought it was HoHH. That’d be nice.
Is it though? On the bright side, scarezones will be normal next year
Ok cool. You can stop now.Sorry, I'm with @RevFreako on this one. This thread was alarmingly incognizant of the spikes in COVID cases in relation to this event. Ultimately, I'm sure it came down to the numbers continuing to trend upward for FL. Not surprised in this least. I was more surprised at everyone's fierce adamance that the event absolutely would go on AND look similar to all the years past. Yeah, no.
In the great words of Ian Malcolm..
