If they can just make a ride where AA, Barney, and CG are, I see no need in removing E.T.

I actually think Spongebob is deserving of a land. It's got the staying power, seeing as I'm 20 now and watched it when I was young and my little sister (along with every kid at her preschool) watches it and loves it now. It also has tons of content to replace KidZone with; Krusty Krab, Glove World, Rock Bottom, Mrs. Puffs Boating School, Shell City etc. Spongebob could also replace E.T. with a ride that takes place in Bikini Bottom. It makes the most sense IMHO. Also the overlay would actually give KidZone some identity and cohesiveness, which I think it lacks in its current state.

I mean think of all the food options the Krusty Krab would present, you can't tell me you wouldn't love to taste a REAL Crabby Patty (though the name is unappetizing)

Krusty Krab is as far as I'd go with Spongebob. A kid's area themed to one property is a mistake, IMO. Differentiate and you hit/attract a broader market.

I agree. And frankly you need variety to hold their attention spans. Plus, more properties means more merchandise means more money.

Agreed. Kidzone Pizza can be turned into the Krusty Krab considering it's next to Spongebob Storepants.

I still want to see a Spongebob water coaster! It could hit up all the areas (Sandy's Dome, Rock Bottom, Goo Lagoon, Jellyfish Fields, Glove World, etc.) and it can have a little bit of thrills as well (think end of Journey to Atlantis).

The two properties I expect to see regardless are How to Train your Dragon and Madagascar. Other than that I think it's to early to tell. With numerous franchise opportunities between now and 2015 who knows.

Lets see if franchises like The Crood, Turbo, Rise of the Guardians, and reboots of Ninja Turtles and Woody Woodpecker do well in the box office and inspire sequels. Any of these could be Kidzone anchor franchises if successful

Wait, so is Dreamworks still a possibility or not? I can't find anything about the contract or the lack thereof.

I have a hard time believing Dreamworks is in the picture. Universal purposefully let the agreement with them expire. I have a hard time believing they would have if there were long term goals with the properties.

That's never going to happen, IMO. Already been put off by a year for rewrites.

I wish haha don't tease! I'm going to chime in and say as much as a all Spongebob themed land would be awesome, having multiple properties can help with aging and drawing more kiddies. However if one property is forgotten sooner than another and Uni doesn't replace it that would be unfortunate! I hate that. I really liked how Kidzone was with the variety since the very young crowd deserves a few rides too.

If Uni is looking at their own stable of upcoming kid flicks, Illumination Entertainment, then I suspect they could try to add one or more of the following:

Flanimals
The Addams Family
Curious George
Untitled Cryptozoology Project
Pluto
Uglydolls
Gospel for Teens
Emily the Strange
Woody Woodpecker
Clifford the Big Red Dog
Lockwood & Co.: The Screaming Staircase

Despicable Me has an attraction already and I doubt Hop has the staying power to merit an actual attraction. It's interesting to note that Curious George and Woody Woodpecker are on the slate of future releases, considering the films may boost the "of the moment" popularity of the properties that are already in KidZone. Just by looking at the list, Clifford the Big Red Dog is a classic children's character and the new film will likely be popular.
