Well I'm officially boycotting the spoilers thread. It's rediculous to have two threads to discuss the same topic. Sorry to be harsh, but if you don't want to be spoiled, stay off this thread. I still have to look at it so I don't miss anything, but I will only post here.

However there is still a whole (incredible) web site to explore here. :thumbs:

Why does everyone hate the spoilers thread so much? It allows those who don't want spoilers to continue to discuss and allows those who want spoilers to view spoilers. It's only fair that everyone is able to have their own preference and still be able to follow the project. Is it really that hard to follow one extra, smaller thread? :shrug:

Well, there really is nothing left to discuss except spoilers. Does it really make sense to wonder about which trees are going to be placed where? It's crunch time, now, and we need to get to the stuff that will really make us go WHOAH. That's my opinion, but I can't do anything to change it, so...

Agree with Tbad. It would kill to be cautious in one thread carefully reading each post Indiana Jones style. I don't get the frustration either. We all want to discuss the wizarding world...and the spoiler thread is supposed to be strictly about the Forbidden Journey! THIS thread is about everything regarding the wizarding world, including Hogsmeade, Dragons Challenge, Flight of the Hippogriff, and all.

There is no real reason to merge the 2 threads...imho.

Then will people please agree to not discuss FJ here, and do not discuss everthing else there? The Hogwarts queue is included in FJ. New members will just have to be told. Is everyone happy now? You're welcome.

That is the best point yet... This thread has always been about telling what we know, asking what we do not, and conjecturing on what might be and finally, finding out and showing things we should not. Please do not homogenize this thread/site or it will end up like WDWMAGIC. If I see "THEMOM" on this website than I am out of here. (anyone that has been to that site will get the joke) This site has had an edgy toughness yet mostly friendliness about it which I greatly enjoy. BriMan ran this place the way it should be run. It was unto itself in hard forum chat. New administrators.... please ask BriMan how to handle this stuff... he is really good at it and has displayed great judgment in the past.

I personally don't mind spoilers, it justs seems wrong to tell people who want to be surprised that they have to leave the discussion. Unless spoiler tags can be reinstalled, two threads seem like the fairest thing to do. Hopefully something can be solved in the future.

I'm a member of WDWMagic, so yeah, I get the joke. :smiley: There's a refreshing honesty about this thread, whereas the one thread over there that I'm familiar with is mostly a Disney vs. HP nonsense, with a strong dose of Universal bashing thrown in. Now, this is my first trip to Uni, I'm a huge Disney fan, but I have the crazy notion that there's room for both kinds of theme parks. I have loved all the photo updates on this thread, it has only whet my appetite even more for WWoHP. So keep the updates coming, I say! :thumbs:

PotteryGal I know what you mean I stopped over by WDWMagic to read some of the bashing of UO & WWoHP its ridiculous. I am a Disney Freak through & through but like I have said before I am also a HP fan who knows when UO is kicking major butt.

As far as not liking the other topic I agree that really all that left is spoilers. This is not picking on spoiler free people but when soft happens should we not post any pics here of anything? I mean really a line has to be drawn somewhere. Some will want to not even know what the stores look like so than really it's hard because this is the topic most come to for pic updates. I'll be careful with what I post but non spoiler people what is your personal limit so we know going into when soft happens & some want pics of everything & some only want to see certain things.

New topic: Rumored April 9th Soft Opening

How probable do you think this is? I mean, Hogsmeade seems to be done, seeing as how Ellen was able to film, and FotH and Dragon Challenge seemed finished too. I don't count on Forbidden Journey being open, but being able to see 3/4th's of it wouldn't be half bad. Do you think this will be opening up come the 9th?
