So there's differences between Sorcerer's Stone and Philosopher's Stone besides the title? If so I may have to order me one. Was thinking about buying some hard back ones anyways.

I so wish I could be there just to see Viola!

What are you doing in Japan? I know Disney Americans work there, I know that Uni Americans work there. So, why are you in Japan?

More than likely a program fix. Mechanics move based on the programming language given to it. Probably a missplaced if, then statement, and they just kept going through the sqeuence and figuring out which one was giving the most problems.

Not yet & since it doesn't "fit the themeing" I doubt there will ever be one inside the area. Maybe though as a loophole they will have a WWoHP pressed penny in a machine that's outside the area

I'm pretty sure the only difference between the two is the fact that they refer to the stone as "sorcerer's stone" in SS and "philosopher's stone" in PS.

Actually there is quite a bit of difference between Sorcerer's Stone and Philosopher's stone. But it is mainly vancular differances. Llike we say hood of a car and they say bonnet of a car> the story is the same< but it just read more British.

That mayor killed me with this line, "They built Eurodisney in the Valley of the Marne, where it is at least as cold and drizzly as it is in London – and it has been a triumphant success." ummmmm...... EuroDisney was the BIGGEST joke of a loss for the LONGEST time that there is even a line in a movie that makes a joke about how pathetic attendance was in the beginning. Cannot remember which movie it was but it was one of the earliest hints of Eisner's inevitable downfall.

Yeah, the French REALLY hated the idea of a Disney park on their land. Attendance was terrible for a long time, and they couldnt get decent cast members - WDW sent a LOT of cast over to open and maintain for quite a while.

--- Update ---

Just finished our last Cauldron Cake for dessert...guess I've got to attempt another GP soft this week before the withdrawls kick in. LOL.

I think that's why Teebin found that quote so funny. EuroDisney isn't exactly the shining example of financial success.

Sounds like someone is jealous (and obnoxious)!

Although it seems that he would rather burn it down, he should try visiting the park before he starts bashing it.

True: it took quite a while to be a success. What it had going against it was: 1. the French hated it and boycotted it for a LONG time before finally accepting it, and 2. it was cheaper for Europeans to go on holiday to Florida and WDW (and at times even Tokyo Disney) than it was to go to DLP. (still a problem even today depending on the year and the economy).
But yes, I found that comment funny myself.

--- Update ---

Yup, Cauldon Cake withdrawls already setting in...damn those things are tasty!

...just took inventory and Im down to: 2 bottles of Pumpkin Juice, 1/2 a Chocolate Frog, 1 chocolate wand that just barely made it home in the heat last week, and a jar of ribbon candy in a Honeydukes jar.

hope there are a couple more GP softs end of this week - if not Ill have to settle for picking up a box of fudge on Main Street.

Felipe, thanks for the Link!!

I read the article written by the mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and I did think it was a little funny. Build a theme park that looks like London IN London. What’s the point? A bit redundant huh?

He didn’t know about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter until a child told him to start making preparations? I am guessing it was one of his own children. People from around the world have been watching the progress for a few years now in anticipation.

A few other things I didn’t know….(of course I am being sarcastic with this list)

1. I was risking my life by going to Orlando “far more likely to get shot or robbed there”

2. I will get to see a “vast latex-covered Hagrids rolling bonhomiously down the street” Thought one of the rules was no look-a-likes?

3. Those who wanted some details on the structure “Styrofoam turrets of Hogwarts”

4. Where is this on the menu? “wizard burger washed down with wizard mead” And I thought Three Broomsticks would be selling UK based foods, Butter Beer and Pumpkin Juice.

Maybe since he just found out about the WWOHP he didn’t buy the package soon enough to get in for the Grand Opening and is hoping this sob story will get him and his family a Golden Ticket to enter from Guest Services.

From what I read in the article it doesn’t sound like he has read the books nor did proper research. I wonder if his children corrected him about the wizard mead? My children would have giggled a bit at me and said “Mom, it’s Butter Beer or did you mean Pumpkin Juice?”

I do like how he phrased this part “Orlando is about to become the official place of pilgrimage for ever Harry Potter fan on earth.” That seems to be a pretty fair statement and has a nice sound to it.

haha, yeah man.
I work in Japan, as a attraction designer for Japanese local parks (any small local ones other than Uni and Disney).
Sucky belive me.
I just happen to speak English because I was raised in LA.
Is my dream (like many of us here on this thread i guess?) to work for UC or Disney someday in some form.

the thing I most treasure is working for Uni Japan installing BTTF ride (the only one left in the world)
and I have a staff shirt for it. (how I wish to have one for Potter right?)
someday I will leave this country and hopefully apply for a Uni job somewhere else in the world (if they ever built one, ie China)

but still most of all I am just a fan here on the boards~~~
(I think if I ever work for them, I probably wont be on this thread...hehe fearing my ass being fired or something)
