Idk, but when I went to the resort with the family in July of 2008, we used the express pass for both parks in the same day for the same rides as much as 5 times. We used our 4 passes(dad,mom,brother,I) over 15 times a day. And we stayed onsite at the Royal Pacific...maybe it is a different kind of pass?

Yes, that is unlimited express that you get with onsite rooms, however, when HP opens you can only use it once per day for the FJ ride. All the other rides at IOA and Studios will be unlimited but they are expecting such large crowds it will be limited to once for that ride. A good idea would be to go early (they are saying early entry for onsite) and ride it once and see the whole queue, then later use express when the line is longer. Of course if you are staying multiple days you can see it several times.

If I was a casual viewer and not a Harry Potter fan, I would not be encouraged to visit after that

Ahh! My mom has anxiety and doesn't go on rides unless they seem safe enough. She went on the Mummy. So the plan is that we will all go through the queue and my mom will leave at the point where she could leave. After the ride is over, we will explain and whether or not she wants to go on...we will use the pass the 2nd time. This is a plan many families onsite will use most likely.

And yes the frogs are huge...and not alive lol.

Regarding the queue and preshows, keep in mind that there are still going to be softs for FJ as well and the entire "world". The point of softs is to test everything, and if the preshow queue line ends up being a disaster, then changes will most likely be made. Also, there could be students of professors throughout the queue and preshows telling the muggles to be quiet and listen, but that's just a possibility.

LOL you don't know Cindy Lauper? I knew most of them, one of the women I didn't, the one with long dark hair. Summer, with the long blond hair was a swimmer, and then she hosted a game show on Nickelodeon for quite a while. I don't remember what it was but it was good. A whats my line kind of thing, and people got slimed. Anyone remember it? Crap I think they may have filmed it at universal.
